  1. Are we not suggesting one for Les Reed, as it seems that he has become the most important person at the club?
  2. I also have it on good authority that Cortese did nothing for this club whatsoever, ruined it actually. God, imagine where we'd be if he hadn't had done such an awful job, I, like you Turkey Boy, dread to think!
  3. I am after one myself now, not overly enthused about going in the away end, sort of defeats the object really. Just looking for one and will pay over the odds if that helps!
  4. what rationalisation have i suggested? Apart from we wont catch City and Chelsea.
  5. yes, dont understand this 4th place talk! Fair enough for the top 2, perhaps Chelsea and City will be too much to catch but who is supposed to be replacing us in thrid then? My heart prediction is : City Chelsea Southampton Arsenal Man Utd Tottenham Liverpool My head says: Chelsea City Man Utd Tottenham Arsenal Liverpool Southampton
  6. seemed very straight forward registering and buying a ticket via QPR though!
  7. thanks, fortunately looks like a mate has come up with a spare
  8. where in the stadium is less volatile for away dayers in the home end, any ideas?
  9. It's a no brainier until the attacking options, I would have Davis and and Tadic either side of the two CM's and play Pelle and J Rod up front, 4-4-2
  10. I have to admit, for the first season I wondered if we might as well have taken Dean Hammond to the PL with us, very underwhelmed, but this is the sort of player every team needs. Industrious and such a great engine, the only thing he lacks is finishing, He must have missed two three nailed on's this season, but wouldn't be without him, his bursts forwards are what we don't get from Morgan and Victor.
  11. Thought the BBC coverage was poor, too many mistakes. Hate it when they talked about FF being so good. Very biased toward the Premier League team too, very embarrassing.
  12. This is a good post that will be overlooked by the usual suspects, seems like GS is still missing on this thread but the others are here in good voice.
  13. of course you are right in many of the above but as well as the religious argument, the west on the soils of Islam is a very evoking issue for many. Why did Bin Laden materialise into what he was, because of Americans in Saudi (obviously not as an invading force) and he (and many others) see the infidels on their land as a real issue (clearly actions like today don't justify this viewpoint). It's a fact that the west in Afghanistan and Iraq severely stoked a fire that was admittedly already burning.
  14. Thats not true, though debated and close Mullah Omar could not bring himself to authorise the betrayal of a 'guest' in their country, probably regrets it now mind.
  15. you may be right but ironically they are treated like lepers by the likes of Egypt, Jordan and Lebannon!
  16. Unfortunately its the Saudis that fund most of the 'Islamic' terrorism, and yet we continue to court them for their oil. And at the same time we cant leave countries alone that whilst have unpleasant people running them, keep control i.e. Hussien, Taliban, Assad If we had not invaded Afghanistan and Iraq I don't believe we would be where we are now. There would still be terrorists for sure, but not on this scale in the west. I wonder how much more news coverage this will get compared to the 130 innocent (mostly kids) people (muslims by the way) that were killed in Peshawar?
  17. Is that a serious question? and is that all you do on here, call people names who don't agree with you, how old are you?
  18. HE SIGNED A NEW CONTRACT FOR 4 YEARS AT THE START OF LAST SEASON, NO?
  19. Maldini was world class, exceeding excellence.... that okay with you?
  20. not sure I understand your point? Feel free to expand wtf you are on about?
  21. I see that you have found your level again
  22. So 'brilliant' is better than excellent? And more name calling, Jesus. You our started this with your thread, by calling Pelle an "excellent, excellent player", when quite clearly he is not, but God forbid anyone with a rational opinion here that doesn't 'fit in', and what about getting it wrong from time to time, you have people dragging up people's original comments i can can still say, for example that Mane is not PL standard. He has played well at Selhurswt and obviously scored three goals lately, and he's young, so like Peter Crouch, I might be wrong about his future, hope I am, but I do try and look at football from a perspective that is not always biased, sorry about that.
  23. Name calling people who have a different opinion, classy
  24. Well the OP said he was an excellent, excellent player, so what does that make Costa, Augero and RVP? We we have maybe two or three excellent, excellent players, Nathan, Tony and Morgan, maybe Vic and Ryan are excellent and maybe Jose is very good along with SD. Jury's out on the rest..
