  2. Miles also follows me - does this validate any rumour I'd make up on twitter? No, probably not.
  3. He's considered to be a pretty average player, who is neither bad nor exceptional by Newcastle fans. Apparently he's leaving because Newcastle refuse to pay him the wages he's demanding. Would be very surprised if he went to Chelsea - let alone him becoming anything more than a backup option for them.
  4. Rhys Williams would be an excellent signing. Can play centre-back and central midfield and has been head and shoulders above the rest of the Middlesbrough side this season.

    Adkins off?

    No they don't.
  6. Wouldn't mind Michael Kightly.
  7. Feel we should be looking for young hungry players, in addition to a bit of PL experience. Nathaniel Clyne, Matt Phillips, Nathan Redmond, Jacob Butterfield, Sean Murray, Henri Lansbury, Gylfi Sigurdsson are the types of players that fit the right sort of mould for me. Could quite possibly move to more established clubs than us, but we'd give them regular playing time and an opportunity to shine. Would like to see us bring in a back-up to Davis who would replace him, Jack Butland possibly. I'd want experienced players in defence/midfield. Though Dann/Johnson aren't having the best of seasons, they have been highly-rated at one point or another. If anything, downwards trajectory of their current clubs gives us more of a chance to sign them. Would prefer to sign players their age than the likes of Upson (who seems past it to me). Not really got any experienced midfielders in mind, though. Will be interesting to see who we end up with, if we are promoted.
  8. They're broadcasting our game on 5live, so there should be audio streams available for those without Saints Player. Fwiw, I'll be in a university library, 'working'.
  9. MLG won't know, considering that SI don't have a firm date yet (source: Miles on twitter).
  10. Some crashes can be specific to certain types of machine - SI can't internally test on every machine ever and I don't think they have a massive number of beta testers. As such, in order to help them to stop crashes from occurring, send a save game just before crashes routinely occur - this helps them a lot in reducing the number of crashes, because personally, I haven't experienced any in my games.

  12. Look up what's happened to Daniel Pacheco of Liverpool, this season. You may find that you're mistaken. However, I wouldn't be surprised if FA rules preclude such a thing from occurring as opposed to FIFA regulations.
  13. A$AP Rocky and Frank Ocean both dropped pretty solid mixtapes last year. Frank Ocean is pretty exceptional and is probably just behind The Weeknd in terms of releasing mixtapes with great crossover potential (from 2011, at least). He also appeared on a couple of tracks from 'Watch The Throne' and has written for Beyonce and some other people, but it's his solo output that excites me. Quite interesting to see that the BBC have picked up on these two, in addition to Azealia Banks (who I'm less convinced by, tbf), somewhat neglecting British talent in comparison to previous years lists. My tip 'for the win' and probably the most likely to succeed are Niki & the Dove - saw them on a terrible NME radar tour earlier this year, they were the first act on but the only act worth watching - they remind me a lot of The Knife, which is definitely a good thing, but more potential mainstream appeal, which is why I can see them winning. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rPGVTta_lHY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gFJQlHJ5EVQ
  14. oh no, players reactions to teamtalks aren't linear... the game is slightly harder - such bull****, not realistic at all, eh?
  15. shabazz palaces - black up das racist - relax the weeknd - house of balloons/thursday bon iver - bon iver the antlers - burst apart
  16. What have you found that needs fixing? I've not noticed it being immensely buggy thus far (particularly in comparison to previous editions). Also, afaik the QA team is pretty small (20 people max).
  17. No? How often does that happen to you?
  18. Every version has some of the SI staff in the database, I know for a fact there are a few in the FM12 demo as 15 year old youngsters at 'awful' clubs...
  19. Bad luck, I think, rather than anything fundamental with the code.
  20. Special exception made; I don't even think MLG would've had much to do with setting that injury at all.
  21. You can play it away from home, if you have a laptop and you could also login and install it (using your Steam account) on a computer anywhere (maybe even able to play straight off the disc in offline mode - on other computers). It's not that bad and there are certainly worthy additions this year - some (albeit smaller ones) we probably haven't even found out about yet.
  22. Regardless of the reasons, I'd guess that this decision wasn't made by SI.
  23. Two years in a state of being relatively well-run entails every user supporting the 'regime' enacting this state to be 'hired' by them. Pull the other one, dune.
