Remove the accent, add a touch of casual racism to their demeanour; they're bound to listen to a whole different genre of music. Take 'A Clockwork Orange'; the scamps in there take inspiration from Beethoven. It's not the music, nor the culture of the music that inspires what you dislike (unless you are purely marking out territories based on racial influence, using musical influence as an unsubtle pretense), merely traits apparent in youth in itself. Find a culture, a time, in which there did not exist a scampish element of youth. What you base your argument on is flawed.

What's race got to do with it? Find a genre of non-classical contemporary music that's exclusively white in origins; I'll go listen to that...

Conviction is illusion, action is as passive as inaction. All is transient. There exists one transcendental truth to be derived from the machinations of the universe; you sir, are a mentalcase.

That's irrelevant. Most at that march wouldn't be affected by the tuition fee rises. Solidarity for those who will be affected is surely a positive trait, rather than another stick to beat him with. It's not as though his actions yielded the production of a more than justified proverbial baseball bat to smash him over the head with...

Not really. Lots of things influence many aspects of art/life. It's not a phenomenon unique to football.

Southampton vs Leeds - August 6th Now at 5:20pm

Norwich lost on TV on their first game last season, at home, if we're still looking to emulate them... -
C4 is a module contributing to Maths A Level. STEP is an extra paper - equivalent to S Levels, barely any schools have the resources to teach for them, barely any students take them, self-study is required (and it's based on the Maths/Further syllabus).

third season in a row we're on TV first game, will be the fourth game in six seasons, also. -
I self-taught further maths A2 and did all my STEP preparation alone. Maths is probably the 'easiest' subject to self-teach - even if I did manage to monumentally cock up STEP III (despite doing perfectly fine in II).

FSMQ maths is ******** (assuming that's what you did), a multiple choice exam based on some of the easier stuff you'll do over the course of AS pure maths/stats/mechanics isn't as difficult as you make out. The 'best' mathematicians are still adequately tested through exams, have a look at STEP papers, which are required for some degree courses, then tell me that the standard of mathematicians is declining (at the top - it'll be just as hard for someone in the 60s as now).

By Set Theory, how much was covered? Statistics 4 (a module contributing to further maths, sometimes) on OCR (exam board) covers basic set theory for probability, unions, intersections, possibly complements (I can't quite remember), but then within this, there isn't any particular difficulty (the same with basic calculus being included in a GCSE paper), it's just arbitrary as to whether it's done earlier or later (although perhaps 16 year olds ought to know basic calculus).

Also, on an unrelated point, if one accepted an absurd form of liberalism (and moral relativism) that led to isolationism (believing values to be relative to the extent that you cannot make negative judgements against other cultures [or conversely receive praise from other cultures] as one cannot truly understand their values - cultures essentially being isolated from one another in terms of criticism, "pc gone mad") then it would not be hypocritical to find this video funny, yet condemn it if it were of Imperial Japanese rulers. For it wouldn't be hypocritical to find humour in satirical poking of one's own culture (assuming all contributing to this thread are 'culuturally British' [whatever the **** that means]) but condemning poking fun at another's culture. As you're able to understand the nuances of your own culture, humour IS acceptable, but to satirically poke fun at (and in doing so pass judgement upon) another's culture would be wrong. There's no contradiction in holding such a position, if one accepted isolationism, which of course one wouldn't, as it's rather absurd. -

Race and culture define identity, but only to the same extent that height and weight define the appearance of a person, though often correlated, there's no necessary connection between 'height' and 'weight' in the same way that 'race' and 'culture' are not necessarily connected, but happen to be so in a lot of cases. For them to appear aligned and for them to be aligned are separate things entirely. -

The humour has nothing to do with race. Absolutely nothing. -

The humour is derived from the incongruence between their social status and the act of anal sex. I fail to see how this has anything to do with 'race' and find it absurd that chest-puffing nationalists are getting so precious about something that likely occurred to them when they were young. Perhaps that's where the offence is caused. -
Guardian league tables are generally absolute ********. Though for many courses you can look at whether a uni is an ex-poly or not and compare as such, with fine art it really will come down to course content and facilities provided (so, if she hasn't already - visit!) as opposed to whether it'll tick certain target boxes for employers. Most of the 'best' places to study art etc. aren't the universities generally considered to be the top ones, be aware of this.

Commentators telling us how great our home defensive record is, for Hartlepool to break through, Davis and Harding having to make excellent contributions to keep Pool out. In other news, Saints corner.

Lambert steps up and scores. Phew. Now to control possession and see out this game with ease...
