Destroying the manufacturing base of the UK economy and incentivising profit motive by privatising ****loads. Isn't our screwed-ness a result of being unable to have product other than financial services, thus making our 'bounce-back' much slower than if we were still producing more manufactured goods. I can see why it could be blamed on Thatcher, but the successive governments should have regulated privatised industry more, banks etc.

Do they talk to you in English? Do you have to listen to what they're talking to their mate about? Does this now mean that everytime I talk to a grandparent/someone who can't speak English too well, in front of an English person, I must speak in English regardless? Watford are definitely staying up, they were really good tonight and Brendan Rodgers is improving them no-end.

He was on our books for a while, don't think he ever got a chance in the first team. Saw him playing for Watford today (they signed him in Jan from Wycombe for 150k or so) and he was absolutely excellent. A calm defender who didn't put a foot wrong at all and was absolute solid. Constantly talking to his defence and I think he's improved them as a unit. He was also man of the match in his home debut the other week. Why on earth did we let him go? He'd have been perfect for us, especially with the situation we're in.
