There's no way you would ever put this in print.

More a likely a rare exception to the "no shoelaces" rule.

Shame they went for him first. I'm sure he knows f**kloads on all the others.

On a scale of 1 to 10, how happy are you with saints at the moment?

It's a 7/10 for me, which doesn't really sit with my happy clapper status or this "most successful season since Prem started" lark. Positives:- League position Media respect Youth players coming good Negatives:- Drama over Chairman Uncertainty over players' futures FA Cup Cutting edge I could quite easily revise this up to a 9 if we've still got most of our players next season. -
No-one really knows what they're doing with their first. My youngest brother is around 8 years older than my eldest daughter, so I had relatively recent experience with looking after kids, etc. It doesn't really prepare you for full-time parenting. Mileage varies with grandparents, as does the experience your kid can have. Very much depends on what else is going on in the family. The biggest worry though is parents not fully taking on their own responsibilities, which happens a f**kton. Other potential dangers are "the prince effect", which normally happens if you've delivered the first (and especially only) grandkid. Major spoiler risk I think you can get by with a balanced approach, but it still ain't ideal in the early years. I happen to think that the requirement to have two breadwinners per house is crap. I'm not saying it doesn't exist; it clearly does - but I think it's probably to the detriment of society as a whole.

Marshall Law?

I know a lot of people disagree, but this is why I think it's important for the kids to be looked after by a parent in the early years. No-one else has the ownership or vested interest. I'm not entirely sure that having close family members (like grandparents, etc) look after your kid helps.

Sad news for your Pa, Bear; hope you come up clean. In the event you don't, remember this; you're actually no worse off in these hereditary scenarios. You've had it all your life; and knowing may allow you to change your lifestyle to mitigate some of the symptoms/risk factors.

Just back from Southampton after going to the game with middle bro yesterday. If I'm honest, wasn't really expecting any points. Everton have long been a troublesome side for us and have been in good form lately. We're missing our top scorer, haven't really set the world on fire in recent weeks. Even worse, I was fairly ambivalent about the result. We don't really need the points, and I know a lot of blue noses that'd love to sneak into the CL. What I actually got was one of the most amusing games I've been to in recent memory. The banter in Itchen North was top quality; we couldn't really have done it without the Evertonian exploits though. "You score two goals, and still don't sing" was my favourite. It'll be a while before that's as funny again. After seeing Jos score an og last year in the Fulham game, very pleased to see a bit of balance restored in the flesh. Actually thought we were much like our normal selves. Good to watch, pressing high up the pitch and the characteristic lack of end product. We really miss Jay's pace and the outlet he provides for some of the over the top/through balls. Despite the lack of bite, side looked hungry and a decent footballing outfit. One, maybe two more magicians in their own fields, a bit more depth and this group of players will blossom into something quite scary. Most of the pieces are there now.

He would be a liar of extraordinary magnitude if that were the case. We'd have to give him a nickname or something. I've said for a while that most of the signs are positive. While he may share a surname with 80s horror icon Freddy, I don't think Ralph Krueger has come here for a nightmare.

On that basis, you either bum Tokyo lovingly or kill him. Tokyo is still alive. -
Most of you are. 90% of main board content is people making up bóllocks about a football club. Some of us operate on a wider scope

Class of 92, I'm guessing. When I started, we were all too pleased with the "what school do you go to" joke to drop the T.

Way to promote the resale, if true. I predict trouble though. Avant-garde Arcade Fire fans lobbing vegan meatloaf at beer-can wielding lad band fans. Shít could get messy.

It's all going off, lad*. *I am not ITK.

Before anyone gets too hot and bothered, let's remember that this is Ed Woodward that is releasing most of these transfer stories, a chap that made a lot of noise about all the players United were going to sign last window. They got Fellaini and paid 4.5M too much for him. Perhaps the Shaw offer is a reaction to the f**king about they did last window, or maybe it's just someone who utterly f**ked his job up last time making a lot of noise this time around so he's seen to be doing something. Much is going to depend on the next permanent United manager. You'd assume that if Ed Woodward was serious, next United manager is a done and unannounced deal. btw, the United chairman's full name is Edward Woodward, sharing a name with the star of obscure late-night favourite The Equalizer. It puts me in mind of the stupidest joke I've ever heard. Q: Why does Edward Woodward have four "D's" in his name. A: Because if he didn't, he'd be called Ewar Woowar. I like this joke.

That's fair enough, and indelicate on my part.

So if you know the area, do you reckon Junior Police Academy is a good shout, or will the Flower Road's "Running Man" contestants be extended beyond the student pool?

I didn't know Prince Adam was that way inclined.

Apologies Stubby; I did not see this post when reviewing the thread earlier on. First, let's deal with the offence. It's not my intention to offend you, and I'm not trying to separate you from your soul or call you an idiot for what you believe. I think freedom to worship is very important, just as respect for other people's views is too. The two concepts are often irreconcilable. If the source of the offence is me positing that Christ might not be the Son of God, then there's a long line you need to address before getting around to me. He's not the Son of God in either of the other two Abrahamic religions. There are millions of people who would disagree with you, possibly taking as much offence as you've done here at your suggestion. When it comes down to it, the source of your offence is an accident of birth and culture. If the stork had dropped you off in downtown Islamabad instead of Some-shire, England, you'd believe different things and would be cheering me on for that statement. It's that sort of reasoning that means it's almost impossible for me to be anything more than indifferent on the "truth" of competing religions. Genuine apologies if you're narked, like.

Oh aye, but it's likely to be big vote winner for those pervs.
