  1. The headline on USA today simply reads "Again"
  2. Ah, you couch it in such absolute terms (as I did, admittedly). He'll say he never really got over the business in that train episode. When he actually flipped, it was more about realising he'd been Walt's pawn than the events in Hard Freight.
  3. Jesse is a nob jockey. Mixing in other films a bit, he could have been on a beach earning 20%. What's done is done. Silly boy.
  4. That was a year ago KRG. What next? Gonna have a lol when I spoil Empire Strikes Back?
  5. That's fine mate. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Can't argue with the short comment physically, but I'm happy enough with life's lottery ticket.
  6. He was a superb signing, for many reasons. I wonder if McMenemy knew that some 30 odd years later, King Kev would provide the assist for a magnificent own goal.
  7. Might just be obvious buyer bias, but I'm fine with 7 inches. The missus would be ecstatic
  8. He overheard a Skype conversation with his captors in which they claimed that Assad was not responsible for the attacks. His fellow captive, a chap called Piccinin, reported this on Belgian TV on his release. Quirico has been less sure about whether the conversation was truthful than Piccinin was. The latter believed that the conversation was genuine. Interestingly, Quirico has distanced himself from the rebel cause. Said that the secular revolution of Aleppo became something else. He's quite right in that regard.
  9. No spoilers, but this week's Breaking Bad is intense, probably more so than any other episode, and I include the offing of Fring in this. So many things are addressed, and I have a fair idea of where Walt is off to in the flashforward.
  10. Watching Breaking Bad live, yo. Big episode.
  11. I am in the States atm. For the relatively low price of 189ukp, was able to snaffle a 32GB Nexus 7. As anyone who has seen my posts on my slow conversion to Android, something like this was on the cards for a while. I was a little hesitant about trading down to a 7 inch screen, but after a day's use, I'm loving it. First, the aspect ratio is 16:9, unlike the iPad which is 4:3. This means that the drop in screen size isn't actually that bad when watching movies, etc. A big plus is portability. I can bung it into an inside pocket and carry it about easily. The screen is amazing. Best screen I've seen on a tablet, and augurs well for the Nexus 10. Overall, very happy with it, especially at the price. It's even a decent deal at the UK price too. Anyone got one or thinking of getting one?

    Android apps

In truth, most of my apps on Android are things I already have on iOS. TuneIn is a very decent Internet radio player. Would recommend it to both iOS and Android users. Spotify is better on Droid, I reckon. Plume is currently the Twitter client of choice. Also, Tapatalk is well worth getting for forum peeps.

    iPhone 5s

Honestly is awesome too. The missus will be happy. She inherits the ipad3.

    The Y word

I am in the US at this very moment. Spent a couple of hours watching NFL with Americans. We discussed both the spurs and Redskins situations. Universal meh.

    iPhone 5s

Bazza's brilliant sales pitch caused me to buy a new device. Ta iOS. It was nice knowing you. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2

    iPhone 5s

Plants vs Zombies 2 for Droid is done and already out in China. Hits the rest of the world very soon. On a wider level, can honestly say that I haven't missed the iOS exclusives. The stuff that you genuinely won't get on Android is Apple's own, such as GarageBand, but even that is a toy compared to the version on Macs.

    iPhone 5s

So Plants vs Zombies is available for Android too. What would you say the failings of the Droid version are when stacked up against the iOS version?

    iPhone 5s

Lets have some examples then Bazza. I am seriously considering ditching the iPad for a Nexus of some sort. When I moved from my iPhone to the S3, I was able to download an Android version of pretty much every app I use. What are you missing?

    iPhone 5s

I didn't. My iPhone4 went commando for its entire run, on the kept promise that the screen wouldn't scratch. Juvenile Unit #2 still uses it to this day. Anyway, the point relates to the plastic iPhone diluting what was a very strong brand. Apple should take a good look at the demise of BlackBerry, who changed their product line to capitalise on the popularity of BBM amongst teenagers. The cheaper sets damaged the brand to the point where it's almost an irrelevance.
  20. I thought you'd indicated that the UN inspectors weren't allowed to assign blame. I do like your attempts to command the forum though. I'll do one. "Let's all laugh at Verbal's attempts to tell the forum what to do". Easier than I thought. Rather fun, too
  21. That'd be the one, but thought it worth mentioning in case anyone thought I was labouring under the misapprehension that Russia had been entirely inactive on the combat front.
  22. Gotta love George
  23. I feel that we're hitting diminishing returns here, Alpine. When you descend into faux-cluelessness to push your points, you are truly damned. Perhaps you just don't know. Since the end of the Cold War, the US had invaded Afghanistan and Iraq, helped the UK and France turn Libya into hell on Earth, and conducts drone strikes on civilian populations every day. For Russia, I'm looking at Chechnya and South Ossetia. The US is way ahead on body count. I'd advise that you bring some facts to your next post. You're shaming the barrio with this nonsense.
  24. Still there, peering through the window. His post count has dried up significantly though. Any bets on a new poster emerging soon with a similar posting style and most importantly, post frequency? I think this vessel is done
