Hopefully this is where Romeu steps up...

2 wins in a row? Fuck a duck!

Starts again tomorrow. Poor decision IMO but as usual hoped to be proved wrong.

I looked into that but it was showing as just audio commentary for this game. I would be more than happy to pay the club. I actually enjoy Blackmore and Tessem. It's like standing next to random people in the pub.

My Firestick's kaput. Anybody still using streams? Any links to any sites that may come good for tomorrow evening? Cheers.

Liverpool 2-1 Saints - Match Thread

If this is anything other than complete garbage, I'll take it. -
Agreed. If there must be a scapegoat I'd rather pick Charles for giving away the free kick in that area. It was a poor challenge.

I'm rooting for a football coaching manual.

I was in town last week. Mrs f likes to go in Primark but I don't, so instead "stand outside and watch the thieves". Took about 20 seconds before some bloke sprints past me down the High Street holding armfuls of clothes with Security guards, not police obviously, trying to keep up.

We need to stop the tactic of hoofing it towards Onachu to hold up - it's not working. All game I wanted him replaced - then he goes and gets the winner. Aribo again lacks creativity but good defensively and took his goal well. Aribo CAN hold the ball up when needed to - perhaps go with him if we are to play that game. We looked a more dangerous team with Sulemana in it IMO. We need to try and get Fernandes into games a bit more, very creative and attack-minded.

Onachu losing every opportunity to hold the ball up. Out jumped and outmuscled.

More than competitive here. Three points would be massive.

He suggested two average £20m signings has produced a worse product than the potential of a single £40m signing. I say it's not necessarily about the cost. The not too distant past shows that we have had the ability to recruit good value players successfully, "fairly" consistently and end up with a team in the top half of this league. The deals we were doing with Celtic, VVD, Wanyama, Davis and in Europe, Pele, Tadic etc. They weren't hugely expensive at the time, within our budget and got us results. Let's bring better recruitment back, not just bigger spending.

Hasn't this worked well at times in the past though? We could all name plenty of good purchases within the last 15 years that have gone on to be world beaters. Look at our 2012 to 2016 squads. We seemed to get recruitment right back then on the whole.
