Saints squandering good chances as usual. Not bad creating chances but the defence is all over the place.

Thinking back, Rickie was a whisker away from giving us a 3-2 lead. Their 2nd was plainly offside while we gifted them their other goals. It was a game we could easily have got something from but it doesn't help if you have to play the ref as well. Just one of those days. If we're back to our best on Saturday it'll all be forgotten.

More points dropped from a winning position. I thought we looked ok 2nd half, certainly better then the first, but an arguable penalty and a farce own goal screwed us. It just makes Saturday's game a little more important.

Well the Danny Fox substitution has been one to regret.

We started the game brightly but just got worse as the half went on. Mind you the ref has decided not to give us anything today. Their 2nd was a joke. Should have been a free kick to Saints and was also offside. This could be one of those days.

Have to say that we have need to turn these draws into wins. To let Wigan have a point in that game was completely out of order.

We're struggling to create much in the way of scoring opportunities again.

From world beaters to relegation fodder all within a few days. It's interesting being a Saints fan.

So only 1 goal behind at half time and doing reasonably ok. I'd just like to see us test their defence somewhat more when we get that far up the pitch. So far the delivery in the final 3rd has been poor to say the least. Let's see how we go 2nd half then.

It'd be nice to turn some of these draws into wins. Just 5 wins from 15 shouldn't be beyond us.

After the 1st half I was disappointed not to have a lead. Overall have to be happy with a well deserved point against a strong Everton side.
