Why do we hate pompey, our fishy neighbours?
sussexsaint replied to supersonic's topic in The Saints
The deep burning hatred didn't really start until the recent spate of cheating and lies that left local business' schools and charities out of pocket at the expense of high wage earning players brought in when insolvent. Before that I only mildly despised them -
Just for the sake of completeness. Having heard the crowd I leapt up, hastily zipped up and felt a pain beyond which I have never felt before.

Although he never stated there would be a signing he strongly suggested one was imminent in his interview pre WBA, he also said at the weekend to 'expect some movement over the weekend' - this is why we have assumed something was imminent, he never said definite on any occasion

No offence meant mate, it was an interesting read, just liked the fact we aren't the only forum to have people simply answering every rumour with just a single 'source' post s'all -

Good thread, nice to know not alone in this. usually lasts the rest of the day , can trickle on for a day or so depending on how great the win or painful the loss.(It still hurts a little bit that we lost our 3-0 loss to Leeds, ) Strangely I don't even have to listen to the match - even if I'm on hols and find the score somewhere it has the same effect BTW the mood is made 50,000x f'ing time worse if my SWMBO says 'ah well they can't win them all' or' a draws not bad is it' S'all part of football though isn't it?

Kashmir is my fave LZ , Wish you were here and Diamond are sublime but I do rather love the live version of Comfortably Numb from the distant sound of thunder live album, the second guitar solo is immense. Most of Live after Death is absolutely classic Maiden
