Ref Stephens, I like him, always have done. I accept he’s not world class, but by comparison I think Walcott had an absolute stinker last night, the difference is mistakes in the defensive 1/3 and the attacking 1/3 are viewed very differently. I’m not digging out Theo, I just find it strange someone like Jack, who is the closest we currently have to a Benalli, ie will run through walls for the team, gets some pretty awful abuse.

To be fair to McCarthy I’m struggling to recall someone smashing it into the roof of the net from that angle and distance, I’m not sure if it was brilliance or good fortune, nevertheless it was unexpected

2-1 saints, Smallbone worldie

I think it’s an avoidance tactic, keeping minds off the Tyro league bench

I’m not going to be the one to break it to him that you never get used to the weather. Poor lad

It’s only a bit of fun, nothing wrong with that 😀

I think this is one of those P-doh stings, I just can't work out who's stinging who. Look forward to seeing the video posted on Facebook though!

Poor old Brighton, they don’t look a bad side, but they can’t buy a result.

Just scrolled through online statements, my last refund was around then, but even then it didn't tally. I have sent an email on advice from other posters. Update 34 minute response time, thank James.

Strong case for changing the name from Saintsweb to Saintsrejectsweb (copyright Toussaint).

My career didn’t take off, possibly because I was not very good, but I cannot be certain.

The game was one sided in favour or Pompey for the first 20!

I remember reading / seeing a feature on Brentford's academy, it was said that an academy only exists to bring through the one or 2 players they have hopes for. So not making the grade initially is to be expected.

That would explain a lot, including his lack of joie de vivre, such a dour and bitter bunch of hateful inbreeds.

Has Ian Darke taken on the role of depressing the football watching nation? He, in his whiney- baby voice, likes to talk about covid for 20 minutes of every commentary. Step down mate, hide under your bed, do whatever you want, but stop spoiling one of the rare opportunities to escape from the shit that surrounds us. And as for Dean Ashton calling for the suspension of all football on TalkSPORT last night, go and do one. You live in a different world to the rest of us, those of us continuing to fight the good fight need an escape which football provides.

It'll be a good indication of where we are, leicester are pretty solid, as much as I enjoyed Mondays game, Liverpool are on a poor run of form.

I don't find it tiresome, we are not here to reach consensus, it's all about opinions, views and chit chat. I enjoy strong views, unless those views are being imposed on others, which I don't believe this poster does.

I get all of those things but my point was more that it seems from the outside to be bit toxic.

I don't know why that job would interest him, I think he will give us another season, then, if he stays in the UK it would be for Man U, MAn City, Arsenal maybe Spurs.

Still, at least everything else is going brilliantly in 2021 so far
-
If he can weigh in with a couple of goals as well we’d be in with a shout!
-
Do you really think that? I’d be disappointed if Ralph was to mislead us in n that way, I think he’s better than that. I also don’t the Vestagard is the type to go on a sulky strike either.

Not forgetting Bale, Kenna and Baird
