I'm not sure he did, that's what I believed, I've since been told it was more about a falling out with the club. Him breaking protocols, going home to France at Christmas and allegedly not behaving himself generally. Not saying he didn't have it, but it apparently wasn't the reason for the long absence. He's looked pretty impressive the two times I have seen him recently.

For me it's true, and that's all that matters in my world.

The best thing for all would he plays again asap, hopefully has a good game, or at least keeps his nose clean. I would hate to think his career had been ruined after one youthful moment of madness. You never know, he may grow to be one of our favourites.

It's very possible he has been told to keep his head well and truly down, which in reality is probably the best advice, because we will all be getting hysterical over something else soon, it's the nature of times we live in.

I don't think it would put anyone off, not if they looked at why we are where we are. He's not prefect but he has had us massively over performing. If the new owners did have a bit of cash they may think if this guy can achieve what he has, with a very ordinary and thin squad what could he achieve if he could assemble his own team? I would like to see it at any rate.

I'm not suggesting conspiracies, or corruption, I'm suggesting incompetence. I recall a time when referees were stood down or had to drop down the leagues. I don't know if they are held to account, if they are I feel like it would be a token gesture. The refereeing and VAR debacles indicate to me they have become some kind of gentlemen's club consisting of overweight buffoons who have each others backs at all times.

And the thing is, you know nothing will ever be done about it, particularly when it concerns us or other less fashionable teams. .

I’m behind him, but some of it is his fault. He does make some weird selections, last night as an example , irrelevant though it turned out, playing the headless Djneppo in front of young Ramsey, what a weak right side. Not pulling a striker off when we went to ten. We all knew all season that we only had 12 or thirteen first team players, so his frantic style of football was always going to take a toll, especially with the frequency of games, and the lack of squad rotation.

I agree with most of what you say, except lamenting the season starting with soo much promise. Check out the form table, we are right down there. Those early points will carry us through.

I think he’s here for his PL development, a mutually beneficial arrangement for both clubs. He should really give us the lift we need. But you never know, he may want to stay, Liverpool may move on, we may find some cash. I’m pretty chuffed about it and will hopefully enjoy the ride.

Think it’s more likely that Klopp and Liverpool see us as the ideal club and environment for him to improve and develop
