100% agree with you on this one.

I think we need to stop being sentimental about players who “may” come good one day. We all know we have a huge squad which we need to thin. If some of those players fulfil their potential in the future, so be it.

I came to that conclusion on the basis that if two previously unheard of and unproven players are all that were required we must be keeping most of our best players, otherwise it doesn’t make any sense. If we do sell our better players then a massive overhaul will be required.

I think that a bit unfair, all wingers have games which they cannot affect and, he was playing his way back to fitness after a terrible illness. I thought he got stronger as the season went on. By all accounts he was very good for Bournemouth when he played last season. I'd have him back in a heartbeat.
