I think every saints player should kick the nearest Liverpool player as hard as they can as early in the game as possible, somewhere debilitating. I’ll let the players choose where they want to kick them as I like them to express themselves. So the kick off whistle goes, you each have an assigned target, you sprint to target, kick the target and return immediately to your position. Then you look as innocent as you can. If the ref intervenes just tell him you have a video of him with some white powder or taking a bung, or have a photo of him on Epstein’s island, one of those things is bound to be true so he will immediately retreat. Genius, pure and absolute genius!

Maybe, but I think his point is it’s not being vocalised as it has been in the past. I believe this is for a few reasons, he is not disliked on a personal level, we collectively feel a bit defeated, there is a whole new generation of football supporters who really aren’t that passionate about their clubs who are diluting the support base, nothing will improve while Rasmus pulling the strings, we are as good as down, we haven’t bought well and so on. Having said all of that I don’t think it will take too many more defeats, and there are some potentially big ones coming, before the atmosphere turns.

I think 3 further years of the current regime would take us to a place from where it would be very difficult to return.

The less it costs in the short term, but the longer term effect of keeping could be catastrophic. Thats the decision they don’t seem “brave” enough to make. The “Sunk cost fallacy” springs to mind. I do also wonder if they have to get rid of Martin it will expose Rasmus as the “catch me if you can” charlatan a lot of us believe him to be.

If there was to be a club statement ( I really think they should make one), who would make it? I really haven’t a clue who is calling the shots, say what you like about Rupert, Krueger, Semmens etc, at least you knew who they were, they had a presence, you knew who they were and what there roles were.
