He's probably the best of a bad recent bunch, but, no thank you. He went mad, NJ was mad / went mad, RS was sane but hopeless, Russ is going round the bend. So on the basis of mental capacity alone, get Selles back.
-
True enough, we are now in the championship and look very poor at that level.
-
Exactly what I was thinking, he'll need to pick up the ball on the half way line and beat 9 players to score.
-
All roads lead to Rasmus in our catastrophic decline over last season and where we find ourselves now.
-
We have no fight. Must be all of the “scar tissue”
-
He seemed to be spend some time at right back last night?

I don’t care what happens at Middlesbrough. A win will only prolong “the project” and reinforce the three amigos belief they are on the right track. A loss and we’ll hear more desperate ranting from Russell, ( he is clearly massively out of his depth and suffering, which isn’t nice to witness). I deeply regret spending money I probably shouldn’t have on a season ticket. ps Rambo W.Ankersons grubby little “let’s break it” paws are all over this demise and he seems to be getting off very lightly.

The defence is pretty good when one or both of Bednarek and Stephens are fit (we’ve missed Stephens especially imo), and Charles can play DM. But agreed, we seem generally slower, less athletic and smaller (again) than the majority of the league.

I still don’t want to go, despite having a season ticket. I missed the first two home games through holiday and illness respectively, so I haven’t witnessed any of the “feel-good”. So my first experience of this season, Leicester, felt like a continuation of last season, dreadful football, a heavy defeat (although I don’t recall many heavy defeats last season), crowd negativity and booing, people leaving early. If it doesn’t go well tonight it’s going to start getting towards Nathan Jones levels of hostility.

It was meant to be ironic, I’ll add the inverted “full back” commas for the avoidance of doubt. Funny you mention 7 year olds, I watched my grandson play this morning (under 12s) and even they left two defenders back for corners!

He’s been got at by the S R Stasi

Acquisitions of football clubs can also be motivated by ego, and I think that is true in the case of SR, evidenced by the multi club model and the blind insistence on pressing ahead with “radical”footballing strategies which are unlikely to succeed.

If that sequence continues we have nothing to fear and we are going to end up with a four figure positive goal difference
-
I don’t want to go.
-
I am convinced he’s the right man to get us out of this division.
-
Letting Bazunu carry a basket of eggs is not something I would do.
-
The other issue was KWP didn't break out of a jog to get back and support him.
-
Had a shocker, defensively. Strolling around throughout.
-
That’s exactly how I saw it, so I am reserving judgment on him. His performance reminded me of the first game of football having not kicked a ball all summer holidays with your legs just not doing what you wanted them to do. It makes the decision to start him even more bizarre. I hope he doesn’t become the new whipping boy based on his first appearance.
-
I don’t think it’s confidence with him, I think he’s shockingly lackadaisical
-
I’m not sure what it would solve, we have the players, it’s really poor team selection, slow substitutions and walking pace possession for the sake of it football that’s costing us.
-
It is like that, so easy to defend against
-
Apart from the first goal where he walked back and got nowhere near
-
It’s been risk assessed and managed out accordingly
