  1. There's the saints badge on the right arm too. The umbro logo and the crest seem a bit too far apart, but apart from that, it's nice.
  2. Done.
  3. There was a fair bit of trouble with Pompey fans before and after, and from the Itchen North there was one guy that was sitting there in his Pompey shirt but got ejected in the end when he was spotted out.
  4. I'm not ****ing having any of this.
  5. You seem to take joy in the fact that you know people that get involved in violence at football. Maybe you even do yourself, and you don't really try to hide it either.
  6. Don't know why some people don't support England because "they're ****e" it's got nothing to do with it.. why else do we support our local league team?
  7. Our badge is fine as it is. Represents some of our history, and is not commercialised and modern like the new Arsenal badge, or like american football teams' badges.
  8. When people say cloggers and grit.. I think obviously it's more important to have skill, as someone else said, but it's more about decision making and mixing it up a bit, and having a plan B, and C, and even D, a lot of the time. Most of the grit needs to be mentally, and will show at places like Hartlepool on a Tuesday night when we're 1 down.
  9. Maybe you should just repair your mug.
  10. Only being 16, I haven't had all of the memories, but my first ever game was Wimbledon away, in the great escape season, when Matty scored from a corner, I seem to remember? I know I haven't particularly had the good times, but I've had a season ticket for as long as I can remember, I can remember the cup final like it was yesterday, and even then at about 10 years old, it meant everything to see the motorway covered in yellow and blue going to Cardiff, one whole end of Cardiff in a sea of yellow, the way we cared so much more than Arsenal, and that there was still probably more of our support at the end in the ground than there was Arsenal fans at the final whistle. I didn't care about the result, it was still our day, and I can honestly say it was the best day of my life. I enjoy singing 'Oh when the Saints' just as much from the bottom of my heart at a cup final or at Steaua Bucharest away, just as much as I do when we're 3-0 down away in a little northern town on a Tuesday night. It's the club that counts, the pride and the passion, not the scoreline or silverware. It's something we will all understand, and 'fans' of the top 4 clubs will never, ever, come close to getting anywhere near to understanding. I absolutely love this club. I feel the need for a little poofy love heart now.

    The Saint

How are fans living outside of Southampton going to listen to games now?
  12. Would be up for it again.
  13. Harry Potter.
  14. What about 'He who must not be named'?
  15. Granted, St Mary's is a reasonably boring stadium, but we make a bloody good atmosphere in it. A lot more than the likes of Coventry, Leicester, Derby, Middlesborough in similar stadiums and at away games, the home supports of other teams doesn't seem to be as good as our home support either.
  16. Our rivalry with Pompey is massive. No two ways about it. Bournemouth despise us but they're not even on our radar.
  17. If you're being serious - **** off. :smt039
  18. 2 minutes to go! I feel it's coming! EDIT: Oh ****, the forum clock says 1 minute past, but mine says 1 minute to. Guess it's another day of disappointment then
  19. Oh right. I thought there was something more advanced than that, called Save Our Saints also. I seem to remember people saying in last case scenario that we can fall back on the fans consortium bid.. I presume I am wrong.
  20. What about that Save Our Saints bid, from Derry or something? The fans consortium? Surely that's better than nothing..?
  21. I've just seen the thread that got locked.. was that serious about 3 of the 4 bidders have pulled out and the only bid left is for the sale of the stadium? I can't be bothered to go through the thread.
  22. Have laughed a good few times looking at this
