Is it not his job to bring in players and prepare for the future. Not just bring in short term fixes? The majority of our team over the last few years played for us in L1 and the NPC.

Big injury - would suggest maybe Clyne, Forster, Morgan or Pelle.....probably the biggest misses if they were injured.If it changes how we'll play it's probably Pelle....

Starts if fit for me: Forster Clyne, Bertrand Morgan Tadic Pelle You could argue that any of Fonte, Alderweireld and Gardos are good enough, however Fonte is probably a must start. Would expect it to be 2 from Wanyama, Cork, Davis, JWP. 1 from J Rod, Mane and Long. Great to have such depth for sure.

Was wondering earlier - players like Fonte have come in when we were in L1, and he must have one of the best winning percentages that this club has ever seen. One for the geeks, what players have the best winning % in a Saints shirt? Would expect the current crop/last years to be firmly up there....(Not including players who have played under 20 odd games)

Will be a VERY tough game this, and our first game against the top "6" (apart from Liverpool which we lost). Think we are capable of getting a win, but would be more than happy with a point if offered it now.

Think he's the kind of player who will frustrate, gives the ball away when there is an easy pass on, offside a lot, but will do 1 or 2 things in a game which will create a goal. He's a great addition to the squad and an exciting player.

Better going forward than Shaw, arguably not as good defensively though. Not as much potential either, but slotted in seamlessly and been a great signing. Hopefully we can get the permanent deal done for him

Still think it depends who we play, if we're playing against a team where we need to move the ball quickly against, then I'd pick Corky, but a game like Arsenal, its Vic all day long. There is room for both of them though.
