So only J-Rod, Clyne and Lallana of our regular starters travelled? JWP? Would expect something along the lines of: Davis Chambers Yoshi Hooiveld Fox Cork Davis Isgrove Gaston Lallana JRod?

Does it matter?

http://www.canaries.co.uk/news/article/newcastle-a-1141225.aspx I see Norwich are halving the price of their tickets for this one - would be nice if we were to do the same - especially so close to Christmas. If not - it's about £35 I think, not too bad.
-
No idea but would guess the max full allocation so around 3000. By the sound of it we could have sold 30000 for this game at £25!!

The new update on Tapatalk has a "picks" part, just lists random old threads....this was at the top of it and so I had a flick through. What a mess it was.

How things have changed eh!! People getting excited about McGoldrick putting in a bit of effort! Thanks you Markus and Nicola!
-
Not sure how Cleverley gets a game in this league, let alone for our country.
-
His fitness is questionable, but his effort certainly is not. Just because he is not flying into tackles and sprinting about like Chaplow, doesn't mean he's not putting effort in.

Went with a mate on Saturday who didn't have a ticket - we went and asked in their TO what the situation was with away tickets - and he said cash turnstile. I asked how many did he think we had available, and he said he had no idea as they didn't know the allocation. One of the other blokes just laughed, and said "They don't even tell their own fans how many tickets they've got, they're not going to tell us!" He turned his screen round and showed us we had 4 blocks, and said he reckoned the allocation was about 2800-3000, though he still didn't know exactly. See no reason why they're so keen to keep this quiet - it's all very strange.

Get a ticket mate?

Still think our CM is very close to being better than theirs. You may not agree but I'd rather have Morgan and Wanyama with Cork Jwp and Davis as back ups. Think Carrick is decent, but cleverley is dross, Fellaini wasn't there when I made the comment but has hardly set the world alight, and Anderson...not fussed by him. I used to rate Fletcher but he's been injured so long I'm not sure you can really count him anymore. Sent from my HTC Desire X using Tapatalk

Thought he was OK on Saturday, caused them a few problems and picked up a few free kicks in good areas. If any game isn't for him its Stoke away in that weather.

Why do oppo players need a whole thread about the fact they have had a good game against us?! Its mentioned on all the reaction threads - not that I generally read many of them.
-
TBF we pretty much put out our first XI vs Chelsea, and then brought on a few squad players once the game was pretty much lost....
-
That was a tongue in cheek comment, but the way we've both been playing recently, the fact that we could have had 2 pens, and the fact they still play pretty abysmal football, yes I'm sure a lot of their hands thought 1-1 was a good result for them. Read there forum, they seem pretty happy.

7th would be incredible. Still think there is a top 3 this season (Chelsea, City, Arsenal) and then Liverpool, Spurs and Man Utd fighting for 4th. If us or Everton can have a very good season and stay injury free, then maybe we could cause a shock and finish in the top 6, but very unlikely. Would be more than happy to finish 8th.

Glasgow Saint - formally Bournemouth Saint...

Ormerod did a fantastic job for us and probably made Beattie look better than he actually was, but JR is a totally different player. The only comparison is that they both never stop running. Despite that, they're very very different.

Would be tempted to start a relatively strong side. Gazza Chambers Fonte Yoshi Shaw Cork Wanyama Gaston Davis J-Rod Osvaldo. Lovren, Morgan, Clyne, JWP, Lallana and Rickie can have a rest.
-
Depends what you call arrogance. If that's confidence in our players to succeed then yes our fans are more arrogant than they used to be. Clearly because we're really quite good. Are we top 4 side? No probably not, but we're as good as we've been in my lifetime.

Bazz and Glasgow talking ******** 'shock' best kept on ignore!

They got a superb point against us today. Great result for them. I thought that Arnoutivic or whatever his name is is meant to be good. Thought he was shocking. And NZonzi is up there with Nolan on my 'biggest c*nts' list! They're a very very poor side. If the weather hadn't been like that we would have won IMO. Messy messy game. Also my first trip to Stoke. Thought the atmosphere was meant to be good?! A couple of whispers of the imaginative "c'mon Stoke" and that was about it. Is there any prem ground with an atmosphere these days apart from ours?
