Despite being much younger, he's similar to Gaston. Looks a good player in first season, loads of natural ability, but not consistent and sometimes the game passes him by as he needed to adapt. Morgan has now done this, got used to the pace, worked on parts of his game which suit English football, and now he can make the most of that raw talenet he always had. I just hope people can be as patient with Gaston.

I see Mcmanaman has escaped disciplinary action...disgrace IMO. Should have been banned for 3 games atleast.

Harding was no way close to being a better defender, nor as good going forward. Harding was just dreadful. Done a job in L1 but pretty awful apart from that. Fox is a top half Champ player, but is being shown up in the Prem as he isn't good enough at this level.

Gives me a bit more belief though that neutrals are saying this rather than just our fans ! Surprised Liverpool fans are referring him to be a backup on their forum, he's far far better than Henderson and Allen put together.

Undervalued Morgan, Cork, Shaw, Clyne Lambert and Ward-Prowse IMO. Shaw has half a season of prem football under his belt and has looked outstanding. Add this to the fact he's 17, and I think you're looking at £15m+. Schneiderlin has been our outstanding player of the season and still only 23 - £15m+ Clyne and Cork are both young and English and look at home in the prem. Hard to say as noone is worth anything unless someone is willing to spend the money though.

Should never play for his country again IMO. Caulker, Cahill, Dawson, Jones and Smalling are arguably all better anyway.

It is a complete joke the price of going to football now. I have just made other sacrifices to make sure I can afford it, and I don't have kids or a mortgage! Might be a different story in a few years.

I actually don't mind Guly that much and don't think he is bad as our 5/6th choice attacking midfielder....however that piece of 'defending' on Saturday was pub football standard.

Graham Poll was on Talksport this morning when I was driving to work. Made some interesting points about you can't give it if you don't see it. He went on to ask why has he not been able to see it. If you don't see 1 thing, you can understand it, 2 things very unlucky, but 3 things then you seriously have to question the ref's movement and positioning. He went on to say that refs are told to run diagonally so they don't miss these things. He also questioned whether it was realistic for a 50 yr old to be able to keep up with the players now on show, with all the sports science and everything players are just getting quicker and stamina is as good as it has ever been. Some interesting points f'sure.
