Would much rather have Hodgson if he was to be English. Should have got in Mourinho.

Wayne Bridge second on F365's list of overcapped England players
Saint Garrett replied to Colinjb's topic in The Saints
Welbeck, Johnson, Cleverly, Shelvey, Downing, Henderson....Bridge won't even get a mention! -
Good news for us. They're a poor side with tough games. We should be able to get enough points to finish above them this season.

It would be nice. But never going to happen. These 'egos' pretty much run the team anyway. Wouldn't it be nice to see a few players from teams outside of the top 6 play. Fed up of seeing average players playing for England just because they are registered with a top side. It's even worse when they don't play at club level yet still get in the squad.

Adkins to look at Saints for transfer targets?
Saint Garrett replied to SO16_Saint's topic in The Saints
If they went down, they could do a lot worse than Hammond, Sharp and Fox. I would say Richardson as well, but Gunter is already better than him. -
Well to be fair a lot of the Saints fans in home ends were undercover....so didn't stick out as saints fans. Would be surprised if there isn't quite a few though with our crap allocation and tickets being so easily available. Plymouth there were loads of Saints in the home end....

I think it was a prediction of his prediction....! Any neutral would probably predict a Chelsea win. I reckon 2-1 in either direction or maybe 2-2.

Ramirez to Arsenal? (discussion from Life's A Pitch)
Saint Garrett replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Can't see any of them going anywhere. And if they do it will be for an absolute fortune. -
Would expect there to be a thousand saints in the home end at least.

I reckon Wigan will beat Norwich to keep it alive.

Ramirez to Arsenal? (discussion from Life's A Pitch)

My point was that it was an odd thing to finish the 'programme' with. Of course we are a selling club, as is every club in the world. -

Ha what an odd last line. "He's an arsenal type and Southampton are a selling club" -
How the hell do you know that !?

In what year can we realistically challenge Europe's
Saint Garrett replied to Barry Sanchez's topic in The Saints
I much prefer us buying players who are used to relegation battle... -

He never quite pressed on like he should have done. Playing 2nd fiddle to Cole at club and country level really hurt his career. And he didn't learn his lesson by going to Man City. -
They shouldn't. But if one club gets done for it, why shouldnt Utd?

How long will it be before we are as big as we were in 2003?
Saint Garrett replied to Roger's topic in The Saints
Which is why people saying, 'we should have brought players for a relegation battle in the summer' is stupid. We're much better off buying quality than 'prem experience' who have been knocking around the lower clubs for the last few years. -

Surely depends. Probably not for a long time, but maybe next season? If we sign Messi and Ronaldo, I reckon we could compete at the top next year. -
Not saying I agree with it. What I am saying, however, is that if Wolves got fined for it, then why shouldn't Man Utd. Its because they're a huge club and Fergie does what he wants.
