Superb again today. Arguably his best performance ever for us today IMO. Was everywhere and really seemed to go that extra yard with everything he did. Gave a very poor Lampard the runaround today. Great to see and long may it continue. I love him and Morgan. I'm struggling to think of a better 2 CM's I've seen at Saints.

Always looked capable user Adkins, just needed a bit of time to settle. He's now seemed to have bulked up a little bit so getting pushed off the ball less. Also wiser up a bit under Poche. Plus Poches tactics of high pressing clearly suits JRod's work rate.

Be interesting when we play against a team with pace. Only team we've played under Poche with real pace was QPR.

Just fed up of all the constant drivel on here about our signings. They're good players and all add certain things. Some people just like moaning for the sake of it.

Good post ^. Definitely made us more effective and would say he's getting the best out of certain players. I do worry about teams who put 11 men behind the ball though. Might be ok vs Reading as they've got to have a go, but West Hoof Utd will be a very tough game. Would love us to batter those ******s

Sunderland have been much better today than the other week when they played Norwich! How Titus bramble is still playing or a premier league club is beyond me. He was only good at Ipswich and awful everywhere else!

Cork and Morgan have done pretty well at this since cork came into the side vs WBA. A wreckless CM just wouldn't fit in to how we play.

No but it does make him a superb footballer in the level we play at.

Glenn Whelen, Nolan, Mbia, Gardner, Guthrie.... Nope wouldn't swap any for Cork, Morgan or Davis.

Busquets is no more of a 'tough tackling midfielder' than Morgan. Morgan has made the most tackles and interceptions in Europe or something...that's good enough for me. You seem to take every opportunity possible to say our players are average/sh!t.

There is no such thing in football as a tough tackling midfielder. In fact the way we play, it all about pressurising the opposition into making a mistake so they mis control it or it can be intercepted. No team has headless chickens who boot people anymore. Hence why Chaplow is out on loan
