Gazza will learn a lot from Boruc I feel. I would keep Boruc for the next few seasons and plan to bring in Gazza in 2014/15 season.

Is that Courtois? If it is he's very highly rated and been Atletico Madrids first choice last few years. Wouldn't be surprised if Boruc is on ££££££ and wanting more money though.

Who cares who is a bigger club. Yes it might persuade a player a tiny bit, but if a club is playing in Europe every season and has money then there is Jo reason why they won't sign the bigger names.

Only thing that might put people off is the price and also that we might not have anything to play for...! (here's hoping)

It doesn't say an awful lot that we don't know to be fair. Just shows how little money you get in L1 though.

Lets not get ahead of ourselves, he's only been playing consistently for a month or so. I would think he will have some poor periods of form, and also some 'hot' periods. What we do know is he will give 110% in every game he is involved in.

Agree, we certainly seem to be playing more direct with him in the side that we were before. Whether this is down to Poche's tactics or not, I don't know, but he didn't really get involved that much under Adkins. He just seemed to run the channels and get the ball and knock it back to the midfielders, whereas now he's turning and running at defences. It's exciting to watch. I remember seeing one of his goals last year on the FLS, which was similar to the Liverpool goal where he ran the length of the pitch. 7 secs in.... Clearly got talent and comes across as a good fit with his personality as well.

See I've been relatively impressed with them. Try to get the ball down, and have been ok. Not amazing but impressive all the same. I do think they need another CB, a keeper if Reina leaves, and maybe another midfielder, but all in all I think they have a decent squad. And they have some good talent coming through the academy and think Rodgers is the right man for the long term.

Thought Rodgers said he wouldn't take any Swansea players? Liverpool don't need that much, they just need some key signings in some key areas IMO.
