Thought this thread was going to be about David Connolly haha I'm sure there are a few clubs who have got relegated twice and then promoted back into the same division, but doubt it's happened with Premier League clubs. The only ones who have gone into Admin who have played in the premier league are Us, Pompey, Leeds, Palace, Coventry, Bradford, Ipswich, QPR, Barnsley, Derby....have I missed any!?

All Fat Sam teams always crowd the keeper and used dirty tactics. Just something else that we have to deal with. Tbh I don't think there are many decent refs. The best ones are the ones you don't notice. The one on Saturday was pretty good, I don't even know who that was. Seem to remember the Chelsea game he was pretty good n all.

We're better than under Adkins. Can't argue with that. I really want us to beat those tossers on Saturday though and cement our place as the top promoted team at least.

I'd be a bit worried after you look what it's done to Newcastle this year. However, if we are going to progress into Europe and challenge towards the top of the division, then its a step that we need to take. We'd just have to make sure we bolster the squad a bit more in the summer.
