Little article from Steven Davis talking about a few of our youngsters....whats the Milk Cup? http://www.colerainetimes.co.uk/sport/football/milk-it-says-davis-1-4974801

Cork signed a 4 year deal at the start of last season, so has the same amount of time to run as Lallana did.
-
Keep an eye out here...http://www.wiziwig.tv/broadcast.php?matchid=195963&part=sports It will be streamed somewhere.

I completely agree and I fully expect him to honour that pre-contract agreement, however it's not definite until he signs on his birthday!
-
Boruc and Shaw please....maybe even Corky ?
-
Signed a 4 year deal in L1 I thought?

Ag Ag Ag, bless em! To be fair my dislike of West Ham mainly comes from my group of mates who are all West Ham apart from one, who is a Chelsea fan. Had to deal with abuse all year about it, so about earned the right to give it out a bit now we're above them. Add the fact that I truly despise Allardyce and his tactics, and also my most hated footballer is Kevin Nolan, it all adds up to a bit of hatred. I do like Jarvis and Tomkins, and Noble I like, but the rest of their side is pretty poor. Vaz Te can be a handful but is normally pretty in and out of games.

Can't see them scoring twice...think it will be 3-1 saints or 1-0 whu.
-
Good to see they've made an everlasting impression ......It's aap!!
-
True, but don't fancy Gaston putting in a performance with Nolan et al booting him every 5 minutes. Think we'll start with the same team as Sat if everyone is fit. Only change I could imagine is Lallana for Gaston.
-
If those 3 out, I don't think we'll win. Rodriguez has been superb for us in recent weeks and fits Poche's style so well. Especially if Puncheon is out as well, that means it'll be Lallana/Davis/Gaston most probably. And Fox, well we all know about Fox's limitations...!
-
He was good in those games Vs Madrid, but pretty poor in a lot of others. I agree he will improve but I think people just don't think he is that good now. I'm sure a lot believe he will be good in a year or so as long as he continues to get games.

@SouthamptonFC: Mauricio Pochettino: "I am comfortable with how the team is playing, but a manager is never really relaxed." #saintsfc @SouthamptonFC: MP: "It's a really big game against @whufc_official. We're aware that they are a very strong team, fitness-wise and physically." #saintsfc @SouthamptonFC: MP: "We've watched the video of our game against them earlier in the season, and we've analysed their last five games." #saintsfc @SouthamptonFC: MP on Jay Rodriguez: "All players need time to develop their game, and realise what emotional spark gets the best out of them." #saintsfc @SouthamptonFC: MP: "In the two months that I've been here, I think Jay Rodriguez has developed a lot. He has great potential." #saintsfc @SouthamptonFC: MP: "Getting one victory is amazing, but to get four would be out of this world. It would be good news for everyone connected to this club." @SouthamptonFC: MP: "We want to win the maximum number of points between now and the end of the season to finish as high as possible." #saintsfc @SouthamptonFC: MP: "With the change from winter to 'less winter', some players have struggled to adapt. They have bugs so they might be a doubt." #saintsfc

We wont be able to afford anyone who is better than Cork and Morgan IMO.
-
In what way ?
-
You cant just say that !!!

See an updated table has been released... http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/matchday/fair-play.html

Still not effective enough to play as one of the DM's though is he. I mean he is a cracking talent, but he's still got a lot of learning to do if he is going to play in one of those 2 positions. He's more attacking and likes to go chasing after the ball. No surprise our season turned around as soon as we had Morgan and Cork back together.
-
Oh, I watch us play, and also realise we are still in a relegation fight, albeit I expect us to stay up. Morgan has 1 year premiership experience and he's a world class player ? You need to try some objectivity when watching players from other teams that you believe are overrated.. which is anyone playing for another team the way you go on. I think Morgan is absolutely class. I love watching him play and think he is one of the best midfielders at what he does in the league. Yes I'm probably bias, but thats only because I watch us week in week out.
-
McCartney is absolutely dreadful, Id put him in a 'worse than box' bracket...

Realistic target placing next season - current squad?
Saint Garrett replied to NickG's topic in The Saints
I see no reason why we can't push on next season as long as we keep this squad together, and add a few quality additions. Spurs is a good model to follow IMO. A few years ago they were a team who finished bottom of the tophalf on a regular basis. Yes obviously they're a bigger club than us, but they have a good model to follow. -
Hahahaaa!!! Very much coming from someone who clearly didn't watch the two teams last season then ! Even West Ham fans would probably agree they grinded out promotion and we were very much the 'class' team. I do very much agree with Pilchards. First goal will decide it, we can't give them something to hold on to. We get an early first goal and it could be a rout, but if not, they could easily nick a goal or two.

Isn't this why Man Utd have just had a huge training ground sponsorship deal? And Man City got their stadium sponsorship from Etihad ?
