Very true mate but the mods aren't going to ban them so ignore is the next best thing. Will get to the point when decent posters like yourself just give up on it. They're either kids on here for something to do, fans of other clubs in a windup, or genuinely want our club to fail.
-
Yep unfortunately!! There use to just be the odd one or two but now there seems to be 5 or 6. I've put them all on ignore but there isn't a lot left!
-
Wouldn't be the end of the world if we lost these two, but we have to get a win soon. We're capable. But certainly worried about Liverpool's front line. Can't see us not conceding.

'The Three' - who should play there in our 4-2-3-1?
Saint Garrett replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Right now, B. but has changed a few times this season. Feel that Poche has got another level out of Jrod and he really fits the pressing game as he runs his balls off. Lallana is a hugely talented player but I find he tries to do too much and is poor defensively. Saying that, we have played some of the best football this season with A. However against the top teams or games we're not expecting to get anything from away, i'd be tempted to play Davis in there instead of Gaston. Constant for me would probably be Puncheon...never thought I'd say that a year ago! -
What was your opinion about Gaston yesterday first half?
-
They won't go down with Adam Johnson he is amazing, we should have bought him this summer.
-
Writing them both off already ?!
-
Fonte and Yoshi are our best known pairing. Possibly Forren will start but don't see any reason for Hooiveld to start.
-
13 points and you would put your house on us going down ?! That would give us 41 points...
-
Mate of mine who knows Johnson, yes. Well something along those lines anyway. A lot more than the £60k/week Gaston is on.
-
Nope.
-
Thats a superb bit of play from Arsenal.
-
Not for his wage, and he wouldnt have come here anyway.

I really don't think it's that black and white to be honest. I agree we probably overpaid for both, but then 6m for J-Rod is probably about the going rate for a young English striker, and Gaston is highly rated across the world, a full international, and played a season in Serie A as one of Bologna's best players. You can bring up examples of other options which back up either arguement, but if they both fulfill their potential then their value won't decrease. Time will tell. Someone on here said you can only really tell if someone was good value or not once they've left. If Ramirez doesn't really contribute much more then leaves for £4m then yes it was an awful bit of business and a waste of money, but if he turns into a top player and we sell him for £20m then it was a superb bit of business. I think we could have done better in the transfer market but I also think we could have done much worse.
-
Your opinion. I think on the whole our signings were pretty decent.
-
Fair enough, your opinion...Although I'm not sure other posters would agree with you.

Hopefully they'll come and be a bit complacent and we can get them on their back foot. They did look good today though against what is a very good Spurs team.
-
How is it sounding arrogant that 3 months ago Lallana was very important to the way we play. Now J-Rod has improved considerably I believe he is offering us more, therefore replacing Lallana.
-
Pretty sure they have a 'transfer commitee' just like we do.
-
I didn't realise changing your opinion was a crime on here?
-
But Wigan, Reading and Sunderland all below us. Didnt see people bringing this up when we were about 5th in the form table or whatever we were a few weeks ago.
-
It was more of the fact that he had pretty much played every game we played and has looked good at times. However I think J-Rod deserves to start instead of him at the moment. Under Adkins Lallana was contributing enough offensively to make up for his awful defensive work. I don't think J-Rod would imporve as much as he has under MP.
-
Yep, and now I don't think he should be starting. J-Rod has improved a lot and has been one of our best players under MP, Gaston is better than Lallana and Puncheon is important to the way we play.
-
Yep I have indeed. That was from ages ago and he was so important to us last season. But I feel that he's gone backwards. Whether that is down to his injuries, but he's not been great for a good few months now.
