I'd rather have a player who makes something happen on the pitch than just wander about taking in the money doing **** all.

Never said Gaston is amazing though have I? I rate him I think he's got huge talent. If he was consistently good all the time, he'd be playing for a top champs league team. Fact is he's very hit and miss and sometimes disappoints especially away from home. However he is worth persevering with as he adds much more quality to our team. On another level to Lallana.

In the middle, Gaston. Out wide, Johnson. Only reason people are comparing him to Johnson and Jarvis are because they're all left footed!!

He's played 9 games less and has 5 years less experience in this league. If you want to write him of that's up to you but I'm quite happy giving our players full support thanks.

No. He's from Middlesbrough. He's good mates with Andrew Davies and has met Adam Johnson plenty of times. He's on about £120k at Sunderland and was on more than that at Man City. He has no idea about Gaston, that's just me wording what I meant badly!

Makes sense with the 10 years thing. Deserves the club to stay loyal to him, and for him to be involved. Great character and top man, despite him not being a very good keeper at this level anymore.
