Started a new game tonight. Bottom of the league after 4 games...lost them all, thought we were better on the update?!?

If I carry cash I spend it on crap. If I carry cards around I generally don't. You can call that being skint or tight if you want, but times are hard! People need to try and cut down on unnecessary spending and carrying no cash around is something I personally find helps me. I don't agree in getting a beer or 2 in a busy pub on card, but normally know when I'm going for a few beers. Fwiw my local pub in my village has a £20 limit, but you can buy less, just charge you £20 and give you te change from £20 in cash.

This happening? Might have to take a trip to the post office tomorrow if it is !

Just feel that he needs to concentrate on basics and go back to doing things simple. I thought when he first joined, especially in his best 2 games (Villa and Newcastle (H)) he just got the ball and played it. He's an exciting player but he's not picking up the free kicks that he is probably used to winning when he was in Italy. He's just told to get up and we lose possession. Need him to start playing the ball before he gets tackled. Also lets not forget that he was sensational in that first half vs Everton, so lets not say he can't play in this system. He'll probably have a blinder on Saturday, and then be poor again vs Norwich.

Well, I wasn't saying that the goals were directly his fault, but pretty sure that we've let more goals in with him in the team that not. He doesn't offer the full back enough protection. Hugely talented but needs to up parts of his game.

Yer, I started a new game and said very weak at LB and Fox was my best option at LB. Also why does every time I press continue half the league wants my scouts/physios/coaches !? Very annoying.

Think it would look pretty decent in R+W.

Lol! I don't agree with what Claus did, but there is absolutely no chance that he was throwing the games for financial gain !!

Problem is that I don't think we can play Gaston, Lambert and J-Rod. I think we're too attacking with those 3 playing, and we end up a bit all over the place. Add Lallana into that and we struggle defensively. First time Lallana has played in ages was on Saturday and no coincidence we let in 4 goals... I rate Lallana, Gaston, Jrod, and Puncheon, but just not convinced they can play behind Lambert. We don't give enough cover and think that Davis gives us that slightly more solid work in the middle. However I do think there is a time and a place for all of them. Its a squad game, and MP has got to find a way of getting the balance right between attack and defence.

Always a pleasure to watch videos like that. Gutted that I'm only 24 therefore I probably never saw the best of him. Started going to games round 95/96, but a lot of those goals were scored around then!

Nope, because we actually have some kind of 'team' element and the players wanting to play for the club. Plus we actually look quite good at the moment, and much more talented. We're also improving across the season, rather than getting worse, which we seemed to go in that season.

As he has been the last few weeks I think.

I notice Shaw is still much worse than Fox....

Intersting you say that. Was having a chat with a friend of mine who works in football, and gets a the odd bit of ITK news. He said that despite Luke having everything in his locker, and is a superb talent, the club are a bit worried about his weight. Something to do with his metabolism or something.

Only read Le Tissier's. is a good read. Not sure many other players have brought one out.
