Hope not. Our fans dont seem to be able to cheer on the team when we're in white... 'Come on you....errm.......reds?' Happened on Saturday and happened at Liverpool.
Hope it's either Red or Yelllllllloooooooooowwwwwwwwwww
Hopefully we've sold a good few thousand for this. I've managed to change my plans so now going to this one ! Think with good backing we can go there and win, but we're going to have to sing our hearts out just like Fulham and QPR. COYS !
Didn't get a lot wrong regarding us in the summer...
I'm sure we are genuinely interested in both, but also sure there are games being played. Would say we're a lot more likely to sign Astori than Coutinho.
I'm not certain, but I thought there were different tax rates. I.e. the first 10k is tax free, 10k-35k is 20%, 35k-150k 40% and 150k+ is 50% Sure someone on here will correct me, but yer would have thought it'd be about £55k/week.
You asked for an 'accomplished prem player' Steven Davis is just that. Not sure what your point is. Yoshida is a good player and we paid bugger all for him. £2m in this division is peanuts. Mayuka is clearly highly rated in his country and clearly has potential but do agree he's an odd transfer as he's not played. And J-Rod has looked very good when he has played. His goal on Saturday was class and showed what he is capable of. Plus he's probably still worth what we paid for him anyway, it's not like he's 30, not played and suddenly only worth £1/2m!
Does he not have a Cagliari supporting mate ?! Bit disappointed...
From what I've seen he's good in the air, god a good leap on him, and can also play it out the back. Let's just hope he's a very solid acquisition (if/when he arrives)!
Supposedly only not getting in the Inter side because Cassano is in front of him.
And anyway Neil, thats a bit like saying Ramirez is crap because he's playing for Southampton who are 17th!
Another reason why we can't be in that much problem is we haven't let anyone leave. I'm sure if we were struggling a bit financially we would have let our fringe players leave. Even just to get them off the wage bill more than anything else. The fact that the club will only let players leave on our terms shows we're not desperately going to take knock down prices for players not playing.
