If you actually watch the interview it basically says that he wants to play more, which is understandable. He's played well in a lot of games he's been involved in this season, and is growing into the level which we're playing at. The main reason he's not played that much is because we only play 1 up front, and with this in mind he is our backup for Lambert. Maybe we weren't quite expecting Rickie to step up like he has done to make himself pretty much undroppable, but for the moment he is. He also mentions in the interview, he'd happily play anywhere he's asked and is quite happy playing on the left hand side if needed. Comes across as a decent lad, and will be an important player for us.

Doubt they can say for definite when he's going to be back. I expect they have an idea, but time will tell.

Yer, how come they havent really played Gunter? Remember people saying that Gunter was a better option than Clyne in the summer...

Still think there is a way to go yet. Maybe on the bench for Chelsea and Wigan. Hopefully he'll be fit for Wigan but not sure yet.

He's probably not any better than Yoshi or Fonte, and is probably their best defender. Bennett is ok, but was hardly great for Boro last season. Just have to keep at their back four. They don't really have the players in midfield to give them any protection either. Villa actually weren't that bad at St Mary's until they took Stephen Ireland off at half time.

Be very interesting to see how he gets on at Norwich. I would guess that he'll prob have a great second half of the season for them if he goes.

Gaston has to play tomorrow, absolutely tore them to pieces at home, and without Lallana in the side, we definitely need him in there.

Still should have enough to beat them. Only Fonte and Lallana out, 1 which some of our fans totally wrote off before the start on the season, and a few weeks into it, and 1 which our fans think has underperformed this season. Jos will do a job on Benteke, and as long as Guly keeps them crosses in to Lambert, he'll cause them havoc.

He did a good job when he was no1 last season. We brought in Boruc to be no1 this summer after we chased Butland.

As of the first day of the season, if I log in I can only buy 1 ticket on my number, but if I go to my dads it lets me buy up to ten even when not eligible. Well, last time I checked anyway! Still work Ti be done on the system!

Can see where you're coming from OP and definitely an arguement for it. But for now, Rickie is our best striker. J-Rod will learn and will no doubt be our no1 striker within a year, but for the moment, when Lambert doesn't play we just look a bit lost. Don't understate how much we look to hit Lambert with a 30 yard pass. Whether he brings it down and knocks it down or flicks it on, we're best when he is on the pitch. I do agree that 442 suits him a lot more than 4231 though.
