Because I don't believe that Jaidi or Seaborne are good enough. Jaidi is but he does have some shockers and he won't play as much this season.

Still wouldn't be surprised to see us bring in a first team CB come in to instantly play alongside Fonte. I would be extremely worried if we go into that Leeds game with Jaidi as first choice or if Fonte got injured at any part of the season. Great news though as he's a fantastic prospect, but certainly could do with popping him out on loan for 6 months or the season.

Well as others have suggested, the club are taking advantage of fan loyalty.

Tad worrying for me that they're not showing the fans what they're buying....so is it a poor product and people won't want to buy it when they've seen it ?

Though I don't agree with this statement 100% I agree with the sentiment. Bridge is probably the best LB I've seen play for us. Would welcome him back in a flash. Harding will get torn apart in the NPC imo, and Dickson just doesnt fulfill me with huge confidence at LB. Like him at LM but never going to get in the team ahead of Lallana.

Yes Hammond would deserve a chance, but Guthrie is a better player for sure.

I quite like Mills, I'd say he's probably atleast on a par with Harding and Dickson.

I think a lot of people are thinking what I am. If we are spending 3m+ on Sharp, then it's a lot of money. If this is one of a number of expensive signings it will be a good signing...BUT if its using up the majority of our transfer budget then a bit worried about CM and CB.
