/\ Bottling ala winemaking? I wish. Actually, I am seriously considering rinsing out all my homebrew kit now. I only use the kits, but you can't beat the satisfaction of downing a pint of your own ale. I had to stop making wine as Mrs h was drinking it faster than I could make it, which is a good sign I suppose.

Hope noone was hurt, the car is just a piece of metal at the end of the day Barce. In all honesty I thought tom=nights gamne was awful, I know I was ****ter than my usual ****, but it was pretty lacklustre all round imo. Nexstar (Simon?) was taking the p with his silky skills and deft footwork down the left, I simply could not keep up, that's why I went in goal - did I look as bad as I think I did? -
Google suggests placing foil on the ground at the base of the plants and/or a thin washing up liquid solution. I'd be interested to hear how you get on if youy try these suggestions Colin.

Peanut butter tonight, hope they like crunchy. I am hopefully going to be rudely awoken by a thwack and will take great pleasure in wiping the residue off the carpet. If no joy, then I will try the chocolate, should it be dark or milk?

Seriously, are we too late to get some tomatoes going? Also, we have grapes on our vines, tiny weeny ones, but it's the first year they've appeared so I am very pleased. Although I don'e like grapes peresonally, it is rewarding to (quite literally) see the fruits of ones labours isn't it.

Is this the one to the tune of Chuck Berry's 'My Ding-A-Ling'? BTW I remember (just) a brilliant day out in Weymouth for a pre-season friendly that involved a massive kickabout on the pitch at half time. If anyone else was there, was the match as part payment for Andy Townsend?

Lady Godiva and the Austin Princess/Ambassador? Also, who would win a poll between Sonny and Cher's version and UB$) with Chrissie Hind's I Got You Babe? I am always dissappointed when drunkenly karaokeing and finding they only have the latter crap version available.

Who's looking after Jills pussy this weekend?

Cheers for that Burger. He woke me up a couple of times last night and I have just realised that he has chewed the bedroom door and carpet, so after careful consideration I am going to get a back-breaker. Sorry to be so graphic, but that carpet was bloody expensive. WARNING! Do not youtube 'mousetrap' definitely NSFW (or girly types)

I have had it with Mr Mouse! I want him dead. We've tried the usual poison and humane 'catch 'em live' traps from B&Q to no avail. What is the best most potent poison I can buy please? I have been told to get something which mummifies the corpse to avoid smells and Mrs h says she doesn't want me to put down a traditional 'thwack' trap. Advice please? PS We have 3 dogs who obviously don't give a toss about said mouse, so please don't suggest a cat.

Would you happen to remember the name of said 'strain' JBS? Not for myself obviously. What would I be looking for, just in case I suspect that there is some growing wild in my neighbours garden? Sadly, he passed away last year and the house is still empty. I thought it only right that I should tend it to maintain the neighbourhood's reputation for green fingeredness thus attracting the right sort of prospective buyer when the property is put up for sale..

I dug over approx 10m2 this afternoon and put in 24 seed potatoes. I also transplanted a small apple tree to a precarious (but better) site, if the grandkids ride their ****ing tractors/bikes/footballs into it, they will sustain injuries. I am also considering 'grwing my own' if soemone can recomend a hardy variety that will not draw attention and will thrive in our climate.

No, I think Baj is away this week. BTW Don't park in Passfield Avenue just in case he turns up. Bring a drink though, it can get pretty hot. -
Yeah, even VFTT could see that! Fair play to all forces people, especially their families who are often forgotten when their loved ones are away doing their bit. The partners are heroes too in my book. I used to hate it when my old man was away, don't know how Mum coped with five kids to keep in line.

Mike forgot to mention that there is an unwritten rule that if you played in the Forum match, you have to wear the shirt. -

You must have been having a wee when Big Phil Dubya instructed us to give them the head start Nex. HTH WRONG Knickerless. See above. We nearly robbed ourselves actualy Nick, as (to be fair) we underestimated your lot. They weren't actually as bad as we thought they would be. It won't happen next year though as I expect we will only let you get two goals before we start playing. You appear to have clear recollections of the tactical genius of The Gaffer in the closing minutes, but conveniently missed him shouting at me to feign injury so that you could get into our half after 25 minutes. DVD in post - the truth will out. BTW How are ya? -

I will be back - centre back. lol. Must remember to chip in a couple of quid for the bibs this week too. On the subject of equipment, can I suggest that we all chip in for a first aid kit? It needn't have too much in it, just the basics; bandages, sling, antiseptic, aspirin (lifesavers if someone has a heart attack - FACT), ice pack/spray, rohipnol (sp), plasters, cotton wool. Would need to be looked after by a regular though imo. -
