The refusal to sell a season ticket at Southampton FC
hamster replied to lenwilkins's topic in The Saints
What about all those red and White cards that they're putting on outlr seats for tomorrow's game? I think it's disgusting when we're all trying to reduce, reuse and recycle. How many poor trees have been killed for this silly caper....and what about the poor cleaners and the binmen who've got to clear the mess up? Disgraceful n They had better be made of recycled card or im gonna be writing a very stern email to my MP. And theyre a bloody fire hazard ( as is that flag), I reckon Nicola's been leaning on the H&S guy, that's what he's like you know, the monster. -
Naughty Forte. I just made that up, clever isn't it.
-
He'd be well advised to keep a bit of cash aside for 'hush' money too.

Blow me! Deppo you are spot on mate.

A little bar restaurant overlooking the sea in Stalis, Crete. Went back a few times and without exception the food was delicious, the wine sumptuous and the service impeccable. I can't recall it's name but you didn't have to dress up and pretend to be someone special to be treated as such, far too much emphasis placed on famous names and posh nosh. Names mean boat in my book, just a bigger price for their bigger egos.

Sorry if this buried deep in the other thread but I think it worthy of a separate mention. I just spoke to the TO. Whether you book via the ticket line 800 280 0050 or in person, you have to collect them no matter what. Asked if the club will change this on the day to allow walk ups and it's a categoric 'non' It could end up with these tickets being as sought after as the Walsall ones, the comemorative programmes will I'm sure. Anyway, I may be passing later and will grab as many as I can, but mrs h has other ideas so can't promise.

Is Cortese deliberately trying to annoy the fans.

At last, a little light reading before bedtime. Come on fellas, it's only two sleeps til the party. Egos are for fools. ...oh, and chairman and ex pro's of course. -
Is that the St Mary's game?

If anyone sees me struggling to lift a few wheelchairs over the ad boards in the chapel, please stop and lend a hand. Thanks in advance

I understood that multiple applications severest effect your rating. We have also, in the past, had our rating knocked due to previous occupants bad history, also when the kids first discovered HP and knocked a couple of mobile contracts it was us that suffered. Kids eh!

Just asked mrs hammy and I nearly cried with laughter.... Wait for it...... Status Quo - Diggery Down Diggery Down!!!!! Seriously, that is what she thought it was called -
If we are cruising to a comfortable victory on Saturday, who would you like to see pulled off so that they can receive their own personal ovation? I'd like to see Kelvin get one, plus a decent cheer for Bart for his enduring patience and professionalism.

The "Big" News - free "All Star" match on Sunday: K.O 3pm
hamster replied to benjii's topic in The Saints
Bugger it. Just agreed to spend Sunday with the father in law, it's his 70th or something. Maybe I could get so mullered on Saturday night that I have to stay in bed until half an hour before kick off. If they do a commemorative program could someone please get menhalfna dozen please? They're not for me btw. -
Just checked The Echo site and it's definitely NOT new stadium plans Appears very much like Jordan's heads up was planned to coincide with promotion so season tickets is my guess Walsall selling out means the TO are thumb twiddling and the shop is gonna be too busy in the build up to cope with new shirt orders. I'd like the current ST holders offered a decent deal for pumping the money in early last year and another decent deal for kids. Apart from that we've got to take any increase on the chin IMHO.

New kit to be unveiled for Walsall game and perhaps on sale this week I reckon

Agreed. Especially pleased for Simeon Jackson though, how he wasn't nabbed by a Prem club I'll never know. A mate at gillingham assured me that Saints made serious enquiries last season but walked away when told the price tag was £1m. He's quite unorthodox in many ways but i'm relieved that we instead went for the depth up front. Seeing Drew on telly today was a sweet moment for Saints fans and hope we can follow Norwich's example next season.
