  1. http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/pompey-past/portpin-submit-bid-for-pompey-ahead-of-deadline-1-4261102 Bg Daddy Channers on hiw way back in - appy won't be appy with the talk about league one budgets
  2. For what it is worth i agree, but is your post not a complete contridiction
  3. Totally out of order, will sound like a cheap shot, but as a non attending football fan you have no right to comment. Go to bed.
  4. The Tax man has lost out; = 34 million directly 100 million of unsecured debt from first CVA that would have had tax paid at a minimum 30% = 30 Million From second admin = 3 million directly 50 million of unsecured debt from second CVA that would have tax paid at a minimum 30% =15 million Lost tax revenue from compromised agreements = ?? Somewhere near 100 million on lost tax alone
  5. It's old but intresting http://www.rietumu.com/press?OpenDocument&nid=914EDCCB6EE45E5AC22576EA0044EBB8&sub= And then this bit taken from fansonline ....... he bought that stake in Rietumu two years ago. They had a 270% rise in profits last year, especially in the last 6 months. Funny how one of Rietumu's main rival banks in Latvia (Krajbanka-Snoras subsidiary-Antonov)goes tits up not long after CSI took over.
  6. The first installment of this years parachute payment of 4 million came through. appy was given a total budget and he signed a squad on one month contracts, which will effectively run up to January (I know , I know) So whatever that totals to, it will come out of the 4 million - Gives the club a squad to start the season and leaves birch with a football club (Well almost) to sell. The fact is they probably are paying more than most clubs could for players like Howard and Williamson, but thats' just birch falling into the old trap of having a more competitive squad, making it easier to sell
  7. Just a thought but why don't they try working to a budget when they are not in administration as well.
  8. I was under the impression that the minimum sentance for drink driving was a year.... Has this changed..... Adam Blackmore ‏@bigadamsport #saintsfc forward Guly gets a 12-month ban reduced to three if he takes a driving course - and a £2,600 fine, for drink-driving
  9. SulaimanAlfahim ‏@TheRealSulaiman @SOSPompey the great asset of Portsmouth FC is the fans. Look at the stadium its always full even in league one. Look at season tickets Actually Doctor, it's not. As for season tickets that will be 7.300 including the life long season ticket holders. Please take over, you would give us another 1,000 pages
  10. Let's just hope he doesn't ask Avram
  11. Saf having a right paddy on twitter with BBC
  12. SulaimanAlfahim ‏@TheRealSulaiman How can BBC reports that I am buying #Portsmouth because I tweeted "I am involved" does involve means bidder or buyer. No professionalism !! Seems like he is backtracking to me
  13. SulaimanAlfahim ‏@TheRealSulaiman Time is so important for #pompey hopefully we can open uk bank account before the deadline. And be part of the bid. Hmmmmm Not quite so positive from the Doctor - I'm sure anybodty wishing to deposit 12 million fat ones, could open an account very quickly, or indeed, use there a clients account at their lawyers or accountants. More laughs yet to come...
  14. I actually dont think thsi one is that compliacted this time round. With the CVA at 2p in the pound, the high wage earners gone and 10 million left in parachute payments, it was always going to attract some chancers. Whether saf comes up with the money remains to be seen, but for 5 million quid, I can reckon Chinny might have had enough.
  15. Nabil Hassan ‏@NabilHassan79 To those #pompey fans asking why Al Fahim is a 'fall back' option. Due to time constraints and the urgency in which a deal needs to be done. Nabil Hassan ‏@NabilHassan79 #pompey Advanced nature of current talks between PST/Portpin/PKF, Al Fahim bid credibility and previous history may also come into equation Birch is playing down the saf bid with BBC reporters, citing time as the issue. Is that the same Trevor who gave the two other bidders another 2 weeks? Doesn't stack up (nothing new in that) but as it stands at the moment, he doesn't have any credible bids from portpin or the pst. The smell of fish is cranking up
  16. I will of course bow to your superior knowledge, but is he not just buying the debenture from Chanrai? He pays Birch whatever amount for the club to include the ground and then pays Chanrai a seperate amount to remove the debenture
  17. This is Chinny we are talking about - He will have done ok
  18. We will probably never know. It is a side deal between those two parties and nothing to do with Birch. At a guess I think it will be somewhere between 4 - 5 million...... But of course saf has to actually come up with the money
  19. Welll it seems to be confimred on twitter as our old friend the Doctor / Ice cream salesman. Intresting tit bit in the letter, is that debenture to be removed at the amount negociated with current debenture holder (Chinny) So it could well be that Chinny's work is finally done and he has agreed a deal with saf. All that needs to be done now is for saf to complete on the deal..... Which from memory took quite a long time, last time round. But he has made one important promise (Required by all kocher takeovers) and that is a fan on the board
  20. Made up - but stunned. That's his value gone up by a few quid
  21. Well it seems they are determined to keep us entertained for some time yet. Anyway, back to the task in hand. .... so people that want to remain annonymous, publish their offer letter and proof of funds to the world.... Makes sense. They seem gutted that this might push the trust out - As if they though the trust bid was really viable.
  22. Made In Britain. Perfect. We ******* rock.
  23. Have no facts to back this up, but there seem to me, to be quite a lot more people wearing the new shirt, over any other ones I can remember. Personally don't like it, but it's just a kit, so not going to get wound up about it.
  24. I have never liked players waving imaginary cards when fouled and like wise on here have never reported a post or called for an infraction against a poster, but Saint Mikey that is just too much. So against the grain, I call on the MODs to take decisive and proportional action against the poster who is advocating the blue few contribute blood to the National stock pile. Good grief.
