  1. Um, It could be one of three things 1) The seller insists only pre approved buyers are allowed access to the house. 2) A/W want to check that you have proof of funds (In my day you used to get a mortgage ceftifcate) as the banks and building societies turn down so many applicatons these days and they can waste loads of time on people, who can't buy even if they want to. 3) It's a crap sales ploy (Which is probably the most likely)
  2. If you watch the "All angles covered" clips of the final day, It is obvious there is some friction between Adkins and Cortese (Especially if you then compare it to last year) and for all the posters that dismiss it as ********, you are just kidding yourselves. That doesn't mean it is serious or long lasting (I quite often fall out with my boss) but it was real on that day.
  3. Jack Butland Birmingham - Official Standby player So there is a bit of the Championship in there (Never Heard of him)
  4. I was going to offer the same thing, but think it hs to go to Kelvin against Leeds
  5. http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/pompey-past/pompey-web-chat-with-mick-williams-1-3843962 Don't judge a book by its cover and all that, but he doesn't look like he is at the cutting edge of business finance :)
  6. http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/pompey-past/ward-next-to-go-but-no-offers-for-team-mates-1-3840557 They just can't ged rid and no money left to pay any compremise agreements so they have to stay...... May be Mr Birch, you should have sold him to Ipswich when you had the chance, instead of gambling on staying up. Seems like they all fall under some strange spelll down there
  7. The point is valid - If we weren't selling out, then we can't say The Dell was limiting us in the 80's. Football changed, money came flooding in and fans interest levels rose to the point that it did become limiting in the 90's and we literally had to move
  8. It's going to be something like that. I am convinced he will step back in and stop them from getting liquidated, how he "Cashes Out", will be intresting. Baker Tilly, Gaydamak and Chanrai have all voiced claims and legal entitlement to the outstanding money, to the point that birch listed the revenue from outstanding PP as zero, so not sure he will get all his own way with those. The big earners are still there and they are fooked until they can get rid. If they can't, chinny will have to make up the (Not so very) shortfall, which means more cash upfront to stand a chance of getting his money back.
  9. I remember Le Tiss blasting a volley high and wide and the Northam singning "You'll never play for Eastleigh" - Which was quite funny for them
  10. http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/pompey-past/mp-seeks-football-finance-transparency-1-3835152 Penny, you dont need a new bill for that, I can give the answers for free; Chanrai Chanrai King Edwards Chanrai / Gaydamak And as for all creditors getting the same amount, that's what pompey have been doing for years.... They all get fook all. Can't help but thinking your time could be better spent on other projects.

    Marriage

andy, probably time to go to bed mate. They can have their civil partnerships, they just can't (Quite rightly so) be married in a church. The church is the church, it makes it's own rules and if they decide they don't want gays, that's down to them. You can't just change the rules.

    Marriage

No. Marriage is a christian ceremony, not what we say it is. My views on gays are irrelevant. They want to be recognised by an insitution that sees them as "Unnatural" and "wrong". Doesn't matter what we think, thems the facts.

    Marriage

The idea that gays want to get married is plain stupid. Effectively they are asking to be recognised by an insitution that condemns them and considers them "wrong"
  14. Follow up with Um Pahars. Lovely club and always made to feel welcome, I don't play myself (Wish I did) but probably the perfect sort of club to get back into the game. As for the "Young Un's, having a more relaxed approach", that nearly cost me a new lap top and a glass of red :)
  15. I have to say we can't agree on all the answers, but here you go; 1) Who scored the first and last goals of the Saints Championship campaign 2) How many penalties did Saints get in the league this season 3) How many penalties did Saints concede in the league this season 4) Who was the only player to play in every game this season 5) How many league goals did defenders score for Saints this season 6) How many Nationalities made up the official squad of the season (Including Loans) 7) How many own goals did Saints concede in the league this season What was the most league goals Saints scored in any one week 9) What was the most league goals Saints conceded in any one week 10) How many players did Saints use in their Championship campaign
  16. The guy from the trust is claiming on line that the club is for sale and the asking price is 1 pound. My maths was never very good, can someone tell me how muh each creditor will get from the sale price.
  17. He's not quite the guru and saviour that people thought he was, when he was appointed.
