I disagree. Lowes prinmary motivation for taking control of Saints was money / business and he pretty much said as much. ML is different, he can afford to take a punt and as you say if we make it to the Premier League, he might make a bit....... Remember this, Cortese was involved in Football finance, he was offered Saints as an aquisition oppurunity prior to when we went into administration, so it is probaly fair to assume, he was also offered other clubs. He pushed the button when the price and deal was right - and who could argue it wasnt at 12 million for lock stock and barrell? A total investment of 25 million could see Saints back in the Premier league and he has doubled his money on just TV money alone. I am sure ML wants moe than just a return, but thats as i see it.
