  2. Exactly, had this not been the holiday season, i think we would have hit 28 - 29k. We will probably hit around 25 - 26k, which will be fantastic. The rain will also keep some walk ups away.
  3. Tommy Smith staying as pfc pass on 1.5 million bid for him
  4. Well take it as red that the "news" figures are correct. Interesting that the target has been reduced, i'm not sure how that works, but hey ho, only four million to go. You didnt mention anything about storries court case and your potential points deduction.
  5. Made all the more sweet by the fact Hans Segers, had been spouting off in the press ahead of the game that Le Tiss wasnt good enough for England. They asked Matty about it after the match and he said " I'm not sure why he says that, may be it s because everytime I play against him I score.
  6. Hold your horses fella, The points deductions are not over with yet. Mr Storrie has a trial coming up, that if found guilty, you will receive a points deduction. Oh and you also have to meet the conditions of the CVA. The first hurdle was raising 15 million in player sales.......hows that going?

Has the forum been contacted by the club? Any warning shots fired?
  9. Help me out fella's. Sat by a pool in Spain, drinking an ice cold pint and going through the pain barrier with the sun burn. Can't quite work out where the whole case is at - quick summary needed, how did HMRC do Cheers
  10. Had a great day at Goodwood, with a couple of winners, only to the lose all the winnings on the last race, but it didnt matter, was brilliant fun. My sister picked the winner for EVERY race (Her first time at the races) and won a total of 71 quid....she was only betting 1 pound a time on the tote
  11. android is on record (not that, that means much) saying the 6 million piunds to fund admin is not coming from Chanarai. The most obvious benefactor would be the premier league who might have advanced them 6 million of the first installment. Regardless each installment will be paid directly to the football creditors and secured creditors, so pompey wont even get the even sniff of hard cash until 4 years time
  12. Dont be fooled by that. Testimonials dont come under thae same rules as other games.
  13. I think that is almost certainly the case, but not quite sure how the trial will work without him there, as HMRC will have direct questions, specifically regarding his decisions. I am really starting to believe that they are doomed
  14. Surely it would be to much even for this thread to think that there might be something in the fact his holiday region doesn't have an extradition treaty with the UK. But, then if HMRC win, could his work be dismissed as a mistake or could it possibly be criminal neglegence ?? If aa loses, would he ever be administrator again...............
  15. There is someone, somewhere along the line, who has lost all perspective Oh the irony mr android, oh the irony. Anyway lets get this straight, the man who put togther the whole administration team, the man who put together the CVA and who had final sign off as to what debts were included for voting and which ones weren't, is having an extended holiday and wont be in court for the biggest day in the clubs history and one that will almost certainly dictate his future career.....thats not just bizarre, it is also very telling. This is almost certainly on the advice of his lawyers and is a massive indication of them trying to protect something. Somebody put a call in to Susan Boyle and see what her diary looks like for Wednesday
  16. Cb Fry - Do one. This thread is a thing of beauty, do not soil it with infighting................. oh and you are wrong by way

  19. http://www.fulham-mad.co.uk/news/tmnw/fulham_set_to_take_legal_action_against_pl_chairman_541227/index.shtml Another Storrie masterstroke contract or something more sinister? Why do you sell a player for 2 million less than you have agreed with the other club? Now the manager of the other club is a certain Harry Redknapp, but that's just coincedence right.....
  20. Well can you key tipsters sort me out for Goodwood on Saturday please Thanks
  21. May be aa will take them to court for wanting to much discount. It does seem that they are pressing for cash now and everyone else is pushing back...... shame
  22. pompey: We want 10 million for the rights quay Radio: Where the fook did you get that figure from pompey; Peter Storrie our adviser, he has 25 years football experience quay Radio; Fook off pompey : What about a fiver quayRadio: What happens if you get liquidated on the 3rd pompey: you lose the fiver quay Radio: Fook off
  23. And Cotterill insists he has no qualms about throwing Boateng into Championship football if they do not get their way. He said: 'Prince was meant to be back today and could be in the frame for the weekend. 'He could also still be with us in the Championship when the season starts. 'It's not about how much we want for him, it's how much we need. 'We are not about to sell anybody cheaper, we don't need to do that Answers on a postcard
  24. I disagree. Lowes prinmary motivation for taking control of Saints was money / business and he pretty much said as much. ML is different, he can afford to take a punt and as you say if we make it to the Premier League, he might make a bit....... Remember this, Cortese was involved in Football finance, he was offered Saints as an aquisition oppurunity prior to when we went into administration, so it is probaly fair to assume, he was also offered other clubs. He pushed the button when the price and deal was right - and who could argue it wasnt at 12 million for lock stock and barrell? A total investment of 25 million could see Saints back in the Premier league and he has doubled his money on just TV money alone. I am sure ML wants moe than just a return, but thats as i see it.
  25.:lol: Agreed, but isnt the accepted formula for marketing (Or to allow them to say things 80% of customers, or 9 out of ten people would recommend it blah blah blah) only a couple of hundred people or a very small percentage.
