  1. Completely agree with that. My personal opinion is that lowe played chicken with Fry ..............and lost
  2. It's massively different
  3. Barclays never withdrew the overdraft and Barclays didnt appoint the administrators
  4. I see that Plymouth have just been taken over by a japanese consortium...... anyone know how long that process took
  5. Fair enough, although it was the club that appointed BT, not Barclays
  6. Phil it has never been stated (To my knowledge) that the overdraft was withdrawn. On Lowes media round he stated, once the cheques were bounced, we took legal advice and had no choice but to place the club into administration. My understanding is that had they continue to trade, the Directors could become personally liable for the debts. Happy to be proved wrong, but fairly confident the overdraft was never withdrawn, until after the club was put in admin
  7. page 94 will announce the take over is done
  8. As above post...we only own a small part of staplewood
  9. Not sure how that translates in English, but would it make a difference if we only owned a small part of staplewood??? Not having a go mate, but have you been drinking
  10. Mr Fry will not be selling a company with cash in the bank
  11. It is irrelvant what figure they would settle for (Outside of getting a CVA) The fact of the matter is that lock stock barrell was valued at 14 million by the administrator and seemed to acceptable to the creditors. 2.5 million plus a goalie, that would cost another 2 million to replace has walked out of the door. That means the value has gone down. If you were buying a car fully loaded with all the extras , you wouldnt pay the same for a reduced spec. The value has gone down (As a minimum) by the value of the players fees
  12. No i'm sure they don't > paying 14 million for everything and 10% + of the assets have just walked out the door :rolleyes:
  13. complete tosh
  14. **** me don't they have anti depressants in Austria?
  15. Sell on clauses are usually a percentage of the difference between the two fees and if Bale does go, it won't be what Spurs paid for him, so we wouldn't get anythng anyway. As for cashing in on a sell on clause - (You might cash in on staged payments) but you wouldn't cash in on a sell on clause
  16. Bloody hell, i agree with one of bungles posts
  17. Fag Packet maths; Average attenance fo this coming season 14,000 (I think it will be higher, but for arguments sake) 70% at £19 (Also think this might be higher) 30%at concessions £9 £190,000 + £40,000 tickets + (pure guess) £30k profit from matchday revenue = £260k per match which without concerts, corporate functions and cup matches is over 5 million a year, I think with the extras above that would hit 6 milion.
  18. From a commercial perspective, any take over will be pretty much dependant on the above. If the Pinnacle figure of 14 million was correct (And I assume now reduced by the value of player sales) that would suggest that Aviva are looking for anywhere between 6 - 9 million, which is obviously a huge hit for them, but not without precedent. Given the revenue streams that even in league 1 we could achieve it becomes far more attractive to buy out right now at low cost, rather than re-negociate the loan / mortgage and still be saddled with 24 milion pounds worth of debt. Everything written suggests Aviva are playing ball and are prepared to accept a massive reduction. Someone with the availble cash could make a significant return within a comparatively short time frame and even more if the club ever gain promotion

    Salz

Right now i think all of us just want a club to support. If the other bids fail and Saltz comes in, then he would be our saviour regardless of how little money his consortium have and as already mentioned he would be a huge asset to have on the board or running the club.

    Why

FF, I hear everything you say and know you are far better placed than most on here to comment, but i still can't get my head around the money paid to date. Jackson, Fulthorpe, Tommac etc never parted with a penny.......... this lot did and a very significant amount at that. As i said, i'm not saying you are wrong............. it just doesn't make any sense
  22. Always read your posts with interest Morph, but you are better than the one above.
