Anyone doing anything decent to raise money? Or going out somewhere special? I feel a bit "bah humbug" about it all and trying to get into, but can't. Town used to be decent on nights like these, but twenty years later, it's not quite the same thing. Anyway hope they raise lots of money.

The racist bastards have had a change of heart, first they went with the black smoke for the african and now they binned him, and swapped him over with an Argie...... and the white smoke bellows out.

Can swap for reading away (Although one of those tickets is under 17's)

Romsey ( I think) The two bottom pitches at Hardmoor have moveable floodlights (Probably your best bet) I assume the old AFC Totton is now houses, but if not they used to rent out Brockenhurst

It seems we are in the midst of one of those occassional lulls on this thread. The matches keep it ticking over, but nothing of any relevance and watching them lose every week, doesn't quite hold the belly laughs it once used too. So assumming that when it finally gets there, the courts allow them to purchase at the 3 million, are we all done and dusted here? My prediction is "Yes", but with one final twist, no idea what it will be or who it will be from, but you've got to think, the old girl has one more laugh for us. Not sure what odds you would get but here are some candidates; 1) Judge reads all the pst collateral and agrees, that with the partnership with the property developer, fatpipes is worth more than 3 million. 2) Chanrai has his "Floating Charge" approved (I think this has probably happened already) and the pst need to find another 2 million 3) Chanrai's floating charge is unpaid, but remains in place, causing panic amoungst the council 4) The judge allows the sale at 3 million but includes an "Overage" clause - which fooks the property developer and the pst in one swoop. 5) Chinny loses and lodges an appeal on the last possible day - Sending the FL and everyone else into panic 6) Chinny takes legal action against the FL regarding the Harris bid. 7) The proeprty developer decides he doesn't need the pst after all. They get relegated and the FL move the deduction over to next season 9) Chinny / Harris / An other start legal proceedings against pkf 10) pkf sell the club to harris irrespective of golden share

If anybody has two spare Liverpool tickets, will pay in cash and come and collect. Thanks

We got paid to be shot of him........ Doesn't get any fairer than that

It is no longer a problem for Adkins to find other employment. Now that the legal process is in place, he is free to go and get other employment. Now it might not be as black and white as this, but (I don't know the full figures etc.) Managers always negociate their pay offs (Pardew settled with us for 1.3 million - As a % of his unexpired contract and his salary, we don't know how much that was, but quite obviously it is not 100%. So if (These are just example figures) Adkins was on 5k a week and three years left to run, the maxmimum he would be entitled to would be 780k. Is he really likely to get that amount if he has got a new job (Paying roughly the same)? I don't really know how these things work, but I am guessing not. If he went in without a new job, surely he would stand a better chance of getting a higher payout.
-
May be not so this time Lungs, - He resigned. They may well have put some sort of compromise agreement together (Depending on his notice period) but essesntially he walked of his own accord.
-
Yes. The telegraph article, states that now the process has begun, he is free to take up employment now and even cited the reading job could be place by the weekend.

Lallana Voted 2nd Best Young Player By Premier Managers
Gemmel replied to Gemmel's topic in The Saints
I am guessing, but quite likely that "English" was part of the criteria -
Can't find anything else about this - Does anyone have any more information; Simon Peach @SimonPeach #SaintsFC captain Adam Lallana has been voted the second best young player in the Premier League by top-flight managers.

PST Spokesperson @pompeytrust The Trust Bus will be open as usual from 1pm tomorrow prior to the Bury game in the FE car park. Come and ask questions or just say Hello! I think they should stick a "T" on the bus

Its amazing how much better an atmosphere the blue fews 8,000 fans can make compared to Utd's 60,000

Great shout. Discovered this a few years ago and loved the place.

I only watched the second half and this thread is a bit like the "Emperor Clothes". I dont know what happened in the first half, but from what I saw of the second half, I thought we were poor, touching on awful.

So .......... the bid isn't quite ready, despite being ready to go for weeks. How many of the court adjournments have been down to Chinny? My guess is none, but when you read their message boards, they think every one is. The pst might not be very good at maths, but they get top marks for their "Spin", even if their audience aren't the brightest students.
-
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-21555294 I understand why this could be moved, but it is Saints related due to what happened last season. I go to most (70%) of away matches but didn't go to fratton park on principle. Will be intresting to see the outcome.
-
Sorry Tony - Can't agree with that at all. He might not get the full amount he wants or the value of the charge, but he will walk away with more than he put in. Remember, if the skates are right, he has already had 4 million.

I think Chinny is wrong on this one, but happy to pull up a seat and watch.
