My best guess (And it is only a guess) is the amount of litigation we seem to attract and the associated costs.

I'm not sure that is quite true. We are a Premier league team, with fairly predictable revenues, that aren't likely to change significantly over the next five years. To force any major changes over revenue, would mean qualifying for the Champions league, which would require in excess of 100 million investment, which even then would be a huge gamble. Whatever we are worth now, as long as we remain in the premier, is probably what we will be worth for the foreseeable future.

Ouch. Hang in there big fella. Saints Fans thinking of you.

I know....and never said it was

A good few run ins over the years with his Utd team. It would be interesting to see how many points we have taken off them - I suspect it's more than many of the clubs that have played in the Prem and I don't think it's over egging it to say we could have - should have had another 4 this season. I see that threads have been closed and moved, but this is a Saints thread about how we have faired against him. As aside I remember singing "He's bald, he's fat he's gonna get the sack Atkinson Atkinson......And on the Monday he did, so maybe we played our part in getting SAF to utd :) Was the FA cup win at Old Trafford that went to penalties with Flowers throwing his gloves in under Fergie? Anyway - Some of my highlights... The 6 - 3 of course, the grey kits, Cantona punching van goble (After Keane was sent off) and Van Gobel, didn't flinch or even react, Beattie in the last minute at St Mary's, this seasons performance at both grounds, The game we lost to them in the cup, when we were League one (Thought we were fantastic) Le Tissier through Tabi's legs, Pahars nut meg and wonder goal against Stamm............... Probably loads more (Not least a personal one, when I went to a match in a wheelchair, but the least said about that the better). He seems to have always been pretty complimentary towards us, so although I can't stand the bloke, I wish him well, acknowledge him as the greatest manager of all time and know that playing Utd., will never quite be the same,

Nice one trousers - I suspect you are right (The charges represent three different players)............... wait till the others find out, you could see the number of charges hit double figures.

What happens over the next four years if the football creditors rule changes or is overturned (A reasonable chance, I would guess)? As my post above, they seem to be leveraged by four times to the value of the asset.
-
I make that 12 million + Kanu secured on fratton park........I'm sure the trust said it was only worth 3 million

They might but the credit card companies won't :) :) Q: Can we still pay by credit card? A: Yes, but the costs are high and your money is only released to us on a match-by-match basis

http://www.guardian.co.uk/business/2013/apr/17/tesco-uk-plans-fresh-easy-profits Tescos scrap plans for anymore new megastores/ supermarkets Around 110 schemes where Tesco has invested in land will not go ahead, including 16 that will cost the company around £300m to exit. Around 40 plots of land next to existing stores which bosses had hoped to expand in to will be sold. Probably best to scratch them of the list of 100 million pound developers at fat pipes.

So a finance company run by a property developer (In addition to the Council) has a fixed and floating charge over the everything. Brilliant.

Jordan: I know that Patrick Agyemang's deal is agreed 13:29 Jordan: He could have gone elsewhere for more money, but wants to play here
-
LOL - Someone has a charge, probably against fat pipes. Probably be the council or Robinson - It couldn't be Chinny....could it :)

People are going to have a long stressy summer, if articles like this wind them up. We have a number of players that will court a lot of attention for this next transfer window and Morgan is most certainly one of them. The idea of us not being a selling club is stupid. We may not need to sell our best players as much as we did in times gone by, but with the possible exception of Lallana, if the any of the top four / five want one of our players and those players want to go, the likehood is they will get them......Sure there might be a bit more posturing, but that is all it is. To progress next season, as well as bringing in new / better players, our biggest single challenge, will be to hold on the young promising players that have shone this season......And I guarantee that we will have casualties.
