  1. Intresting to see we charter our own planes when we travel (Or we have for this trip) Seems money isn't a problem afterall
  2. Pardews pay off was jsut over a million (From memory) which we knew because the finance guy explained our high salary % to turnover. Hope Adkins screws us to the ground
  3. It's a promising start. On day one, they will be in debt to the council, it debt to HNW's, in debt to the football creditors, in debt to the CVA, will probably need to take on more debt to have some working capital and all those fans who borrowed money from that credit union to buy their shares will be in.....debt. Which is all quite strange seeing as they were looking for a clean slate.
  4. Japenese film crew in the Alfred last night.

  6. Ok, you've won the game of "Spoof". I will take guly off instead.
  7. If BC had any sense he'd have registered as a player for Pompey while owning it the first time, paid himself 1 million pounds a month and become a secured football creditor. Would've stoped all this faffing about with the charge on FP!. Hats off to this guy.... Chinny you have missed trick (This was off the news site)
  8. How did they get your phone number
  9. This is the issue that Chainrai raised at the last court hearing. He has held a floating charge over all the club's assets since Feb 2011 - before he sold to CSI (see link to Mike Hall's piece below) Somehow or other PKF had left it out of their calculations - despite us and the Trust knowing about it for some time. Intresing snippet from one of their boards regarding this floating charge that Chanrai has.... posted by sj maskell, so fairly close to the action. Could pkf really have made such a mistake
  10. What a load of tosh
  11. Frank - I'm not sure Football, is the right sport for you.
  12. Oh please .... What a load of nonsense
  13. We needs MauricioBut we want our Physio.
  14. Just wait for them to link themselves to Adkins
  15. [h=1]The Guy in the Glass [/h]by Dale Wimbrow, © 1934 When you get what you want in your struggle for pelf, And the world makes you King for a day, Then go to the mirror and look at yourself, And see what that guy has to say. For it isn't your Father, or Mother, or Wife, Who judgement upon you must pass. The feller whose verdict counts most in your life Is the guy staring back from the glass. He's the feller to please, never mind all the rest, For he's with you clear up to the end, And you've passed your most dangerous, difficult test If the guy in the glass is your friend. You may be like Jack Horner and "chisel" a plum, And think you're a wonderful guy, But the man in the glass says you're only a bum If you can't look him straight in the eye. You can fool the whole world down the pathway of years, And get pats on the back as you pass, But your final reward will be heartaches and tears If you've cheated the guy in the glass
  16. Raynes Park
  17. That's what I always thought, but met Lowe about 18 months ago and he was very adamant (And angry) that Barclays put us in admin. I pushed him on it as to wthether they just forced our hand and he insisted they put us in admin. May be it is just symantics and we actually chose that route, but from my understanding it was thier choice, but I guess we will never know one way or the other.
  18. Heard the same story twice now , that Bally never wanted to go, from people who would have known (And completely independently tell the same story) Does this ring any bells with any of the old gits on here? Top man from all accounts.
  19. How many managers did he play under? He saw plenty of challenges off. He wasnt the greatest footballer, we all know that, but drop him at your peril..... and those that did , soon had him back in the team.
  20. But Franny won
  21. I was going to post on this yesterday, that I would just pick up goods to the value and walk out. It would be an intresting case if it made court. Technically he had paid for them.
  22. Five minutes outside today and I am in the "Global Warming is a lot of old ********" camp.
  23. I can buy all of that......But why has he walked away from the deal? It is a lot of cash for a developer to tie up without any short term returns, but what happened from agreeing the deal to postponing the court case.......
  24. If robinson os out of the deal to buy fatpipes, then the bid was dead. My best guess (And that is all it is) is that they will use the parachute payments and then pay the football creditors over time. I think I am right in saying the unsecured creditors have to be paid back within five years..... May be it is the same with the football creditors? But they postponed the case again, so whatever they are doing is not finalised yet, however I think the next pp money is at teh begining of Feb..... Rather handy if the date set on the 31th falls after that.
