  1. Restricted to a month-by-month contract due to the club’s on-going administration, Gyepes is loath to uproot his family for a job lacking security. Instead he shares a club house in Eastleigh with Simon Eastwood, Mustapha Dumbuya and Lubomir Michalik. Club houses :scared: I assume they are rented. At least they didn't have them living in portsmouth
  2. They are signing Charlie Austin in January
  3. Indeed. It was confirmed in one of thier press releases that it has been since 21st October (Can't remember if there were any significant developments around that time) My best guess as to why, is the club was running to the very limit of it's budget, but then came along the additional legal fees and administrations costs on top. My understanding is that administrators will become liable for any additional losses, so at that point it would have been (If I am right) a case of liquidating or bringing in additional money (Same as Crouch did for us), so up steps the HNW's and Mcinnes as they continue to chase the dream.
  4. Speech Jammer would come in handy. The get ****ed in two seconds device, is probably not what this country needs. The sign language to voice device could really help some people. The running drone - Just didn't get it Google Glass - Proper gadget http://uk.news.yahoo.com/photos/top-ten-innovations-of-the-year-1354186506-slideshow/10-mute-button-for-noisy-people-ever-dreamed-of-having-a-remote-control-to-shut-someone-up-now-photo-1270167670.html#crsl=%252Fphotos%252Ftop-ten-innovations-of-the-year-1354186506-slideshow%252F10-mute-button-for-noisy-people-ever-dreamed-of-having-a-remote-control-to-shut-someone-up-now-photo-1270167670.html
  5. SulaimanAlfahim UAE ‏@TheRealSulaiman does #Pompey fans know how much the administrators and lawyers have charges so far? Its almost £4m !! Who will be willing to pay this fees!?
  6. Because they agreed to a deal that gave them a huge pay rise, extra benefits and bank holidays remained ordinary days (Something like that -Trying to remember from last year) Now they want to go back on that deal, kso every year they just pull this stunt for an extra holiday.
  7. BID UPDATE FROM PST After a very busy few days we would like to provide our supporters with more information on last week's court case. The court action is between administrators PKF and Portpin. Whilst PST is obviously a very interested third party, we are not directly involved in the case. Therefore, it is impossible for us to provide full commentary, or reveal confidential information which has yet to be heard in court. This is a live court case and we are sure fans will understand why we cannot say anything at this stage which might adversely affect the outcome. Whilst it was very frustrating to be subject to a last-minute problem which was outside our control, we have used the last 48 hours to ensure our plans are flexible enough to accommodate different outcomes if we need to, in what the judge has described as a 'fluid' situation. We will update you further as soon as circumstances permit, but, for now, we can assure you of three things; 1. We have the funding to succeed, providing we continue to convert pledges. Our individual 'high net worth' investors have lodged a seven figure sum in escrow, and pledges are coming in ahead of target. And, of course, your money less the small administration fee will be returned if our bid is unsuccessful. 2. Our bid has the confidence of the administrators and the Football League. That has not changed. 3. We fully expect to be the next owners of PFC, and believe we will proceed with the purchase of the club in the next few weeks. We are extremely grateful to our 'Presidents' - the high net worth supporters of our bid who have funded the club in recent and future weeks whilst the court action takes place. Once again, Pompey fans have stood up to be counted to save the football club. They believe we will succeed, and so does every member of our bid and advisory teams. Nobody said this would be easy. Portpin, as the largest secured creditor, was never going to walk away quietly. We have a range of back-up options to deploy if any element of this complex project runs into problems. In the meantime, the PST team is working night and day to make sure we are ready to secure the future of our football club at the earliest opportunity. Your pledges, conversions and support take us a step closer every day to turning this club around. Thank you for your terrific support, and we promise to provide a fuller update as soon as we are able to.
  8. Going to be extra hassle for those fans going up on National Express - Getting back down from Victoria to Fulham
  9. Bunch of tossers. Did the same last year. They just want another day off.

  11. With no wins in ten, you can understand why they are so keen to celebrate anything, I am just not sure that a one month adjournment is a worthy of such euphoria. In fact it would seem that Friday was a rather expensive day for them. It appears Mr Robinson has got cold feet, (More a case of severe frostbite from what I can see). Then there is the small matter if this 2 million "Floating charge" that Portpin claim pKF have acknowledged as a mistake. The only other bit I can find relating to it, is a quote from the chairman of the pdt, that their bid can cover this additional 2million (which suggests that it is real). Then just for good measure, throw in the new legal fees and ongoing administration costs and if the above assumptions are correct that little lot totals around 5 million. No wonder they were so happy with the result :scared: :scared: From the very start of this thread I have maintained, I don't want them liquidated and believed at every significant stage they would scrape through. For the first time, I am not so sure. They have one month to find someone to buy the ground on the same deal as Robinson was offering (That was the one that ate 3 million of liquid cash, didn't charge rent for the first year, charged tiny amounts for the subsequent years and had a sell on clause at roughly the same as it was purchased for) and convince a judge to let them do the deal, then they have to find this extra 2 million for this floating charge at the same time as convertng 75% of their pledges. In the mean time the remains of PP are being eaten away daily. At some point PKF (Decision could well be out of birchs hands) will have to make a call on using the remaining money to pay their fees and Chanrai's charge and call it a day. As I said, it is the first time I have ever thought it could be a possible outcome and I could be completely wrong, but as Rallyboy pointed out a few pages back.... The figures just don't seem to add up.
  12. Agreed
  13. I wasn't joking
  14. Well that would explain quite a lot
  15. Has dubai phil got asperger's syndrome? Asperger syndrome (AS), also known as Asperger's syndrome or Asperger disorder, is an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) that is characterized by significant difficulties in social interaction, alongside restricted and repetitive patterns of behavior and interests. It differs from other autism spectrum disorders by its relative preservation of linguistic and cognitive development. Although not required for diagnosis, physical clumsiness and atypical (peculiar, odd) use of language are frequently reported
  16. Point taken
  17. Indeed. Slated because of the fee he was sold for, but ticks all of the boxes of the profile of player we seem to go for.
  18. Told to find another club.......would you ???
  19. I am afraid not. The news as a whole made a syndicate pledge............All the reporters combined have one pledge.
  20. Indeed. Read about that earlier. RIP
  21. You always worry when you see "pompey" and "charity" in the same sentance. But they made a thousand pounds, so with the exception of birch, that is a pretty good result down there...............Lets hope they get to see it.
  22. Nabil Hassan ‏@NabilHassan79 A Brown says PST's business plan can survive without 'floating charge' money (£2m) but admits involvement of Stuart Robinson is uncertain. And they are celebrating ?????????
  23. Nabil Hassan ‏@NabilHassan79 Brendan Guilfoyle is here at the High Court. Read into that what you will. Iain McInnes in bullish form with Trevor Birch. #pompey
  24. The wording was very woolly, but essentially the land has not been sold yet, but Stuart Robinson has agreed a fee with the administrators which one would assume would only go through if he was successful in purchasing farton park. I would also assume that portco, Portin have the same arrangement with gaydamak administrators.
  25. Oi don't be slating Chanrai on this thread you ****. The bloke is a living legend and beyond reproach.
