  1. Nutjobs - Go and stand in the corner. We missed the deposit money.
  2. I have a tattoo, but I cant stand tattoo's on necks, hands or anywhwere visable when fully clothed. I see these little kids with their necks done and apart from looking stupid, they have just ensured minimum wage jobs for the rest of their lives.
  3. To Stevenage. Are we clearing the decks down for ANOTHER Striker
  4. Don't get too bogged down in the fact that the 15th is just an exercise to fix another date, that is how it has been explained since the original case, although it will be intresting to see if PKF formally request another adjourment. As for the last one buying times to see if the lawyers could agree something, that is very fluffy wording. It was because their buyer couldn't or wouldn't complete on the terms that THEY were putting forward to the judge. I am certainly no expert, but even if the judge does allow them to purchase the ground at the knockdown rate, I would assume that as it were them that were going to court and them that delayed everything, then they will need to pay all legal costs upto the point in which the case actually gets heard. The last case wasn't a complete washout. Chanrai claimed an additional two million "floating charge". Matt Slater tweeted that Portpin had said that PKF had acknowledged this oversight. I would have thought PKF would be very keen to dismiss this, if there was no truth in it. But nobody from the pst, pkf or the news have mentioned it since. Although intrestingly the pst have changed from the share money being working capital, to now being required to purchase the club. If I was a betting man, I'd say the floating charge is real, which is another two million pound dent. To me it looks like the pdt is further away than it has ever been. Which is a great shame, but they now need 1.8million pounds worth of coverted shares (As posted on fans online) to actually buy the club (We'll assume that would meet the FL conversion requirements). Then there is the additional legal and admimistration costs, attendances down on pdt business plan and the current shortfall, being met by the HNW's. Intrestingly, at the last court case when this came out, I think it was their chairman who said that they if they lost the court case and didn't buy the club, they wouldn't get their money back.........Which suggests if they do take over, they will get it back.....Looks and smells like a loan to me and with no working capital, they will probably need a cash injection, which would most likely be another Directors loan., Which if correct, is probably not the best way to start. BUT, that is still dependant on getting a result in court and collecting the other 800k and when you look at the potential scenarios, it's bleak; 1) Even if they win Chanrai will likely appeal.... It's the time that could kill the pdt 2) The Judge allows the sale but at a higher value - Fooked 3) The Judge includes an overage position in the deal - If Robinson won't sign on the current terms, can't see him agreeing to new ones - Fooked 4) The Judge refuses the sale - Fooked And that's what they have to contend with, before Chanrai, starts playing nasty. Plenty more pages in this old girl yet.
  5. LOL..... The word "whooooooooossssssssssshhhh" springs to mind
  6. Milton Keynes manager Karl Robinson has revealed that talks were in an advanced stage on Tuesday night to move to the club, with the 28-year-old taking a pay cut to make the move. “People need to realise that Izale McLeod massively wants to be here and financially, he’s taken a hit to be here. When people do that for a football club, I will always be willing to have them here So how much were they paying him:scared:
  7. One of Matt's biggest paydays from football
  8. 2012 has been very kind; ANOTHER Relegation ANOTHER Administration ANOTHER Points Deduction ANOTHER Court Case ANOTHER Shady Owner And all that with more come. Chuck in Our success and you can start to see where the "Nutjobs" get their kicks. An honurable mention to Mr Cala and his underwater hotels - Thanks for the laughs. Happy New Year to you all.
  9. Did yoshida actually pass to a Saints player today. Did he head the ball without it spinning off into some random direction
  10. Chuffed with that , but a thought for John Mortimore. A fantastic guy who I bumped into in Spain when we played Wolves in the FA cup semi final, the year we made the final. He (Like me) had found they only place in the region showing the match and was still Saints mad (As well as bing a lovely bloke).
  11. So was I and have no voice left. Ricky Lambert being interviewed - Say's it was a poor performance
  12. At the risk of sounding like Scrooge, that's two poor performances in a row. We can dress it up as a battling point and credit where it is due, it was, but the standard of football is not consistently good enough. We seem to have different waves throughout matches ranging from dismal pub league players to an execellent footballing side. Don't get Gaston on the left and agree Rickie is looking off form, but the key for me is Lallana (We are really missing him). Excluding the penalty I think we have had two shots on target and perhaps six or seven off target in the last two games. Yoshida is awful (Don't be fooled by Qpr and Reading games) and a complete liability - Desparately hope we sign a decent centre half, because won't survive with his fifty pence head, woeful distribution and non existent positioning. The frustrating thing is, we know we can be much better, so that's back to Nigel to sort out. I am not sure he did today, I thnk the fans dragged the team forward and we got our lucky break.
  13. After his first match for us they opened the Gym at the Dell (Gym is being very polite) and you could go and meet him. The queues snaked back from the old reception, right back past the corner post pub. He stayed until he had met everyone (I think we queued for over two hours). Funnily enough I found that picture last week. Once you get past the ugly kid, you can almost see the awe I was in, just being next to him. I really don't think it will ever be matched or beaten as a signing.
  14. Sorry mate, can't agree at all. It is our business and down to everyone else to seocnd guess. We started the season with the opposition briefed to keep Lambert and Lallana quiet. At a guess I would imagine you can add Rameriz and Puncheon to that now. We are still small fry. With one of our big guns missing or not missing this will change the oppositions tactics significantly. If there is any advange to gain by making them second guess............... Then bring it on.
  15. Completely agree. Very few creative players around these days. He is not the finsihed article , but he will still improve. If he was more of a natural finisher he would be worth huge amounts.
  16. Well more fools them, if they chose a property developer over the council. Plenty of laughs left to have out of the pdt and Mr robinson
  17. Thats a strange comment regarding the Council loan. It was amoungst others dependant on; 1) No other bid being on the table (Which now porppin have suspended their bid- they could argue there isn't) 2) The Premier league guaranteed the parachute payments would be sent directly to them - Which the PL refused to do. So I don't think the loan was ever available to take advantage of.
  18. Sorry Trousers
  19. The wordng regarding the needing of pledges now as oppposed to future use has indeed changed and first came out in Mcinnes update earlier this week. I think there might be something to this portpin 2 million pound charge .........
  20. Brillaint - Thanks all
  21. I'm Chef this year for ten. Tradional Turkey dinner, I am just after tips and extras to make it one to remember. Any weird vegtables, sides etc. that I should consider? What's the best way to keep the meat moist blah blah blah Any and all suggestions welcome.
  22. He is talking specifically about the court case "To get us to the court case on the 15 January or maybe later the high net worth individuals and vice-presidents of the PST have agreed an uplift of funding for the administrator to be able to trade the business without going into loss," he said. But yes even after the court case, it will take some time to complete............ and you wouldn't want to rush the most expensive and longest football administration would you.
  23. the 15th January or maybe later :scared: Would it be too cynical to think it will be as long as it takes for robinson to get hold of 3 million quid
