1. As Penny roared “The trust’s a must”, She proffered out her chubby bust With two breasts clear for all to see, One looked like old Farmery And with nipples protruding like a cannon The other tit was Neil Allen OK OK, enough silly poems - What the **** is going on? There is quite obviously something we don't know, but whatever it is, old Trev doesn't seem to want to go to court. My only guess could be around this 2 million floating charge, that he appeared to have overlooked and the trust are refusing to pay I thought we were about done on here, but looks like there is plenty of legs in the old girl yet.
2. Trousers - Where do you find the court listings and are they still on for tomorrow? Just asking :)
3. No, not that I am aware of. That is another million euros the trust need to find...... But where this is one unknown footballling debt, there could be more :)
4. How many of the court adjournments have been down to portpin? I genuinely don't know, but am not convinced any of them have been. The first couple were down to robinson getting cold feet and the last one due to the PFA not accpeting the revised terms - Does anyone know? Is that information actually out there.

6. It's not quite that black and white. Birch also has an obligation to the the long term validity of the business as well as ensuring the CVA has the best chance of being honured. He would successfully argue that without the golden share, the company has no long term prospects and the chance of the CVA being honured as a non footballing business is non existent. But the Harris bid has already done it's job. Chinny has a story to tell the judge.
7. Fortuneately for us, either scenario is funny. Personally I would like to see the pst get it, which will ensure generations of Saints fans will enjoy South Coast supremecy, but would be equally funny if a chinny stooge got it.
8. One of those guys that was funny to all generations. I remember as a kid, watching with the whole famil yand laughing out loud. Top man.
9. Indeed.
10. Searching for something else in my inbox, I came across this..... seems as relevant as ever Old Peter burnt the midnight oil But saw no fruits for all his toil As time ran down and debts ran up He sought a buyer, but had no luck Avram came and Avram went In Horton Heath his load he spent The blue few cheered and sang his name As he kissed the badge and showed no shame But Salvation seemed not far away With, Al. Falhim to save the day He wasn’t quite a billionaire And walked right into to Baloo’s lair With the ice cream man out of town, A new savior would soon be found. Some still believe this man a myth But to portpin he was a perfect“gift”. When the debt could finally rise no more Old Chinny came and knocked the door. With an admin here and an admin there “My debts secured so I don’t care.” The time had come to sell again And Chinny chose some Russian men. Their eyes were bright and their smile true, But Ruffmafia and the nutjobs KNEW. And so indeed it came to pass That Antonov wouldn’t last Shackled in an English Jail Another epic pompey fail But true to form they did not sell In fact they saw their numbers swell So come the middle of Janu ary It was onto admin number three. With a heavy heart and weary face Poor old lampitt lost his place It looked like Andy would return But his advances, the judge would spurn So up stepped Trev from pkf To find there was no money left His rallying cries went unheard And the players thought his requests absurd It looked like Cala would be their man With his whacky underwater plan, But alas no, it was not he That could resurrect old portsea That just left Chinny to take the reigns But the pst have a bid to feign. The race is on, but who will win The smart money say it’s old portpin. But what looked straight forward was soon to change When the football league, found their range. To prove they were all worthy men They hit the skates with minus ten The final verse is yet to play Will they live another day? From the ones that seem to know the most The current thought is, they look like “Toast”.
11. New member - thought you might like to see the reply to my email to Gordon Taylor reference their position this week. Reference your email. It is just not true to say that the PFA are blocking the bid of the Portsmouth Supporters Trust for their club. I have made it clear in the past that we have absolutely no objections to the PST buying the club and indeed have many examples of supporters running clubs successfully because of their inherent interest, loyalty and support for the club. I wish to make it quite clear that it is the job of the administrator to select which bid for the club is best for the club and then that needs the approval of the Football League. The Football League have made it quite clear to us that, as far as they are concerned, the latest bid for the club does not have the substance that they require or the credibility and I believe they have made that view known to the administrators. As far as we are concerned, the PFA has a record of spending time and a great deal of money in looking to keep football clubs alive and any view to the contrary is totally incorrect. I believe is it totally mischievous to have people saying it is the fault of the PFA that this matter is not sorted now and suits particular players in this game, not least the administrator. We were looking forward to the valuation from the court so that things could move forward. As far as the PFA and its members are concerned, the players at Portsmouth have made massive sacrifices to help keep the club going and we have persuaded them to defer their monies and indeed accept a lot less than they are due. The fact is that the players were the first on the list of creditors to be paid in the future if the club survived, albeit for the most part this would take well over three years. The situation has changed yet again and now the players are being asked to move down the queue behind the Council and other people concerned with lending money to the Supporters Trust and from that point of view we are looking to get exact and particular information as to how this will affect the position of the players so we can be as straight with them as we have tried to be from the very beginning. For example, if the Council or any creditors above the players and indeed the administrator is looking to make charges on the club that may be very punitive then that information needs to be told to our members and all we have asked for is a straightforward display of clear information as to the position that the players are in and when they could be expected to get some monies, if any, in the future. Above all it remains our position and that of the players to keep the club alive and we are very hopeful that the Supporters Trust can achieve this if they are the preferred bidder. It does NOT help the situation for local MPs to be unfairly and misleadingly castigating the PFA and the players at this time, particularly when that is most unfair on players who, through no fault of their own, have made massive sacrifices. Regards Gordon
12. Steph Toman ‏@Steph_Toman Dull fact for Friday afternoon... Pochettino and Redknapp have the same b'day - the day #saintsfc play QPR
13. Someone should remind penny that in the last three years the blue few have cost the tax man; 1) 30 million Admin 1 2) 2. 5 Million Admin 2 3) The 110 million pound of unsecured debt of which tax would have been paid, even at a conservative rate of 30% would have been another 33 million 4) The tax on players wages that were compromised from around 25 million to 8 million would have been another (At 40%) 7 million 5) Any further compromise from the 8 million to whatever is agreed would be more tax. So in three years my maths make it over 72 million pounds that the public purse is down by. That is really quite astonishing.
14. :) As an aside, what was the limit that the FL put on secured debt being carried forward post administration? Was it 5 million? The council loan, the generous loan from the mystery investor and the secured football creditors....How much does that all add upto.... Just a thought
15. Cheers Steve - Will text you for his number
16. It's 40 square meters and I am going nowhere near it...... Any chippys out there..........
17. By Emma Judd Published on Wednesday 13 February 2013 15:14 A court hearing to clear the way for the Pompey Supporters’ Trust to take over the club has been postponed for another week. The News understands the Professional Footballers’ Association has withdrawn its support for the PST bid to buy Pompey in the wake of a rival bid being lodged by financier Keith Harris’s consortium. Though the Football League has said Mr Harris’s bid was made too late in the day to be accepted, it is believed the PFA is urging the FL to change its mind. Without the PFA’s blessing, the PST is unable to bid for the club, and Pompey’s administrators PKF has been forced to ask for another postponement at the High Court. The case was due to go ahead tomorrow. Portsmouth North MP Penny Mordaunt today brought the subject to the attention of the Prime Minister, saying: ‘Does the Prime Minister take a dim view of people who say one thing and do another, such as...purporting to support fan ownership of football clubs while undermining the community buy-out of Pompey, as the Professional Footballers Association has done this week?’ Mr Cameron told Ms Mordaunt that her campaign to help the PST take Pompey over was ‘very important’ and wished her well with it. A source close to Pompey told The News that the PFA prefers Mr Harris’s bid because it would see creditors paid quicker. Mr Harris and Portpin, which holds a charge over Fratton Park, have come to an agreement which would see Fratton Park leased to the club. This would avoid the need to go to court to have the Portpin charge lifted, and therefore Mr Harris could be the new owner in a very short time. The source said: ‘It’s not about the amount they would be paid, but how quickly they would be paid.’ The Pompey Supporters’ Trust said it would be releasing a full statement later today. However, spokesman Colin Farmery said: ‘We have always believed community ownership is the best for the club, and we would hope the PFA would agree with us.’ A spokesman for PKF added: ‘Following the Football League’s announcement last week we continue to work with the PST as preferred bidders, and we continue to work on the court application.’ The PFA could not immediately be reached for comment. http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/pompey-court-date-postponed-again-1-4784819
18. I think it has more to do with filling spaces, during matches. We don't have many pitch side sponsors. Our biggest sponsor is ourselves.
19. Yes he does. He can also give consideration to the future viability of company and one other part that I cant remember - Which basically negates to a certain extent, the need for go for the highest amount to creditors. Whilst his primary objective will be to always be to get the best possible deal for the creditors, he does have other parameters to work around.
20. Anyone know someone that can lay laminate flooring? Couple of days work needed urgently. Cheers
21. Hmmmmmmmmmm If the PFA are undermining the bid as penny says........... My interpretation would be that the pst want to reduce payments to the football creditors or split it over a period of time. They want the parachute money
22. We are playing well and doing the right things now at the right times, but we are very much in this relegation fight. If we get complacent, it will kill us. The old Saints teams, knew what a relegation fight looked and felt like - Our current lot don't. We should be ok, but the moment we all (Players and fans) start thinking we are safe, it will bite us on the arse. Should be a exciting but nervous end to the season, just need to hold our nerve, without getting carried away.
23. So it's full steam ahead now with the pst. The first of two major milestones, til the old girl that is the PTS, can start winding down. Once the pst take over and the they exit administration, the points will come off and then it will be somewhere around mid march that they are formally relegated. From the taunting of our minus ten, potential of going out of business and propping up league one, to dining at the top table in the Prem, having just beat the champions, from their position of; A team of Internationals, playing european football, to entry into the bottom league without a squad and Jack ****e to purchase one with (And that's without the three years of belly laughs along the way) Not sure about the rest of the nutjobs, but You gotta be happy with that??? And Old Nick, without wishing to turn on a fellow Saints fan - You couldn't have been more wrong. Of course there will be a few more twists, turns and laughs along the way; The court case, the football creditors, the floating charge, the pcc loan, Mr robinson, the cva, the % of ownership and maybe a couple of old skeletons (Sorry Kanu) for good measure. But the end game is in sight..... Be safe in the knowledge, that you will all, (As will your kids, grandkids and great grandkids) serve the rest of your time in full possession of "Bragging rights" and enjoy being "The Pride of the South". The Southcoast is Ours, the Southcoast is Ours - We are Southampton, the Southcoast is Ours.

25.

Well, well what a surprise, the hearing on Thursday has been adjourned for another week.Announcement tomorrow. The reason, the PST dont have the money ! Its about time the bile the certifiable one is blogging about potential investors ceases or becomes more balanced and measured ! You never know, we might need these people sooner than later, after all, they have provided proof of funds to PKF and they have satisfied the creditors committee. Something of course the PST have yet to achieve and they have had the opportunity since October 17th 2012. Does everyone realise if the court case is lost, which legal opinion believes it will be, then our prospects are liquidation ! Thats the result of the Football League insisting that its PST win or bust ! Its about time the silent majority started to voice their opinion about the Clubs predicament rather than allow these bullying fanatics to paint this one dimensional picture of the real fans !

LOL
