Anyone think Saints have played a blinder here and also played Everton for all we can get out of them? A "new direction" was hinted at by sources long before all this blew up. I reckon we will have a superb new coach shortly and they were probably on stand-by all along.

I wouldn't want another owner. I love the way we pull a rabbit out of the hat every season and defy the pundits after a summer of evisceration. We have always been a plucky underdog, kicking big clubs arses since '76. Long may it continue.
