  6. Salisu trying to put Liverpool off from coming in for him.
  7. Never ceased to be amazed and amused how we mugged off Leicester in that window. I expected them to be Championship bound to the likes of Bournemouth or Sheff Utd.
  8. Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, jingle all the way, Oh what fun it is to see Southanpton win away!

  15. As certain as Christmas itself.
  16. It will likely be delayed by 25 minutes
  17. Crisp, assured, clean passing performance so far. Classy half by Elyounoussi. Jib. Cut of, like. Salisu really good defending on several occasions. Man of the Half. WHU poor and reduced to simulations. Not relishing the prospect of Antonio’s inevitable introduction, for it is written in the Scriptures that he will surely score against us.
  18. The other good news - aside from the lower virulence and success of the booster surge - but not featured much in the media is that the therapeutics have come on immensely: nMABS and antivirals reducing progression to severe illness and death by large percentages and came on-stream 16th Dec. https://www.cas.mhra.gov.uk/ViewandAcknowledgment/ViewAlert.aspx?AlertID=103184

  20. Palpable disappointment among Covid fanatics that omicron is so mild.
  21. Now that it’s becoming increasingly clear that omicron is a run-out, end of-the-pandemic-proper variant as the virus fades into being one of the harmless background coronaviruses along with the common cold, I see that the covid fanatics and mask fetishists are desperately trying to shift the doom and fear narrative onto the myth of ‘Long Covid’. It’s been the same pattern as every wave has faded. Yet even the NHS’ own description of it is not exactly compelling: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/long-term-effects-of-coronavirus-long-covid/ It’s the new M.E./chronic fatigue syndrome. Every generation has its own somatisation disorder. Before ME it was Briquet’s Syndrome, before that, neurasthenia, and so on.
  22. No fan of Kay Burley but credit where credit is due this cross examination of Gillian Keegan Health Minister is exquisite: https://youtu.be/ed0FelDrPwQ
  23. https://data.spectator.co.uk/category/national Very interesting graphs.
  24. Since you are asking, you show me yours, and I'll show you mine. Via PM.
  25. I 100% guarantee that were she not vaccinated she would not be hospitalised let alone in ITU. Her symptoms would be the same. Her first C19 illness was pre-vaccination and she brushed that off like a bad cold. C19 simply doesn't cause serious illness in the young unless they have major underlying health problems. The vaccines are great at reducing serious illness in the elderly and vulnerable. I am quad vaxxed (C19 x3 + flu) and no anti-vaxxer. So what is my agenda, pal?
