Despite what you read in the papers, it's my belief that the manager is left to do his job. Cortese keeps to himself, he doesn't try to get in the limelight all the time like some chairman/directors do (like our friends Al Fahim and Storrie). He has restructured the club and won the admiration of other professionals in the game (there was a thread about a charity event where a Saints fan spoke to the Walsall chairman, who said that he was very impressed with what Cortese was doing). Again, don't believe what the likes of Mitchell and Wharton tell you - they have proven themselves to be very unprofessional.
