Puncheon is better than Antonio, not by much but he is. Even when he's playing badly he still creates goals or scores them, whereas Antonio just went missing if he was having an off day. Also, to say Puncheon is in his prime and will not improve is ludicrous - he's 23!

Exactly, he's not saying he doesn't know how we're going to play, he's saying that we haven't been playing that way so far in pre-season and we have just been getting fit.

Completely wrong, go back and watch some of the highlights from last season, he was outstanding in every area. The thing that stands out for me was the run and cross in the Pompey game for Lallana to head at goal at the start of the second half, only for James to pull off a world class save.

I know people who have season tickets in that area so the operator was wrong. Either that or there has been one serious f*ck up...

Butterfield can i'd imagine. But Puncheons corners were fine last season.

Butterfield started his career at CM, Chamberlain has played all across the midfield in the youth team but definitely has the pace for a winger (and not really the strength for a CM), and Mills looked fine at LM, don't remember his goal last summer?

Scraping the barrel for things to slate them with aren't we? Clubs release players and get better in all the time.

MLG they were still very big players for us, watch the videos on youtube of every goal from last season and that will prove it. I'm gutted we're not getting Antonio back and it makes the Reading friendly seem very random. However, we have more pace than people give us credit for - Harding, Dickson, Richardson, Puncheon, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Lallana and even Connolly has a bit of pace.

I reckon we could be up to 27/28k, but agree that selling out regularly won't happen. Probably sell out for 6/7 games over the course of the season, not counting cup games.

What happened to your theory that fans are fickle and will only come when we are winning?
