I don't even agree with that. People are less likely to move in january than in the summer - so I am sticking by what I said when we started the season. I will give Pardew till the end of NEXT season to get us promoted. Next season I think ALL of us will be expecting promotion.

I definitely would have rested Lambert in this game, hindsight or not. However, there is a week for him to recover now, so maybe it wasn't that necessary. At least we know Jaidi and Connolly will be fine.
