  1. You brought it up first, you only have yourself to blame if he goes off on one about it now
  2. Nope, he's right footed. He can also play as a striker FWIW.
  3. To be fair, your use of quotation marks around "preparation" made me laugh as well. Are you suggesting there isn't any?
  4. Since our upturn in form (post Rovers), and look at the goals we have conceded, I would suggest there are only a couple that were elementary mistakes. Gillingham was a great lob, although it could be argued Davis should have done better. Southend and Oldham, i'll be honest, I can't remember. MK Dons was a cracking free kick, although again IMO Davis was far too wide in his goal. And last saturday one was an unbelievable header and a ridiculous own goal.
  5. Every team concedes goals, it doesn't mean there is something fundamentally wrong with them, or that they are predictable.
  6. It doesn't matter how it seems, it is a fact that but for a couple of inches either way Lallana could have headed us back into the game earlier, or Connolly could of won it for us (three times) in the final 10 minutes. As for the goals conceded, have you seen them? The first one was a great header which cost the CB the rest of the game because it was so fearless, and the second one....well...
  7. No. We DID create the chances - we were just unlucky with our finishing.
  8. Last season his shooting was woeful - he acknowledged that, said he would work on it, and now has 8 goals in all comps this season.
  9. So...would you rather the roles were reversed? That we had scored two lucky goals and been battered for the rest of the game, but it would be OK because we had men behind the ball? I think you need to clarify what point you're trying to make, because i'm really not sure. So far you have suggested that our match preparation was wrong and that Orients was quite good - then you dismiss the fact that we were all over them for the rest of the match.
  10. Are you suggesting that getting men behind the ball is a tactic that they DON'T regularly use when they go a couple of goals up?
  11. Stick to the swings then.
  12. Now you mention it, didn't their second come about from the a corner on our left wing where both James AND Antonio came across? I remember saying when it was taken that it was a f*cking stupid thing to do, because there was nobody across on the right hand side.
  13. Not controversial, just wrong.
  14. Speaking to a few Orient fans after the games, their main gameplan is to hit teams on the break.
  15. Whoever the weakest link is. It may be the case that we don't have a weak link, in which case we will EXPECT to be promoted - but then the season after, we would probably have 2 or 3 weak links.
  16. There IS a postal strike on, you know.
  17. I said no-one on this thread, there only has to be one and i'm right
  18. I understood it completely; Wotton is not suffering. He is not getting abuse from the stands, or booed, of being told he isn't fit to wear the shirt. He is (arguably) the best option we have there right now, so he will have to do until he can be replaced.
  19. At CM James is quality.
  20. Me neither, i'd hate to think what the thin air would do to him.
  21. So that's 19 goals down to Lambert so far in all comps.
  22. Indeed I am, I apologise. However, I refuse to believe that no-one on this thread has ever gone over the speed limit on a motorway.
  23. If by "suffering" you mean replaced then yes.
  24. To be honest I haven't seen a single person booing etc Wotton this season. However, I would still much rather see a new DM brought in - or even James given a go there and Thomas stuck at RB.
