It's also the reason I'll always hate Vardy. If he hadn't injured Van Dijk I firmly believe we'd have won that day.
-
Redmond is absolutely a player i'd be looking to sell to raise funds as he contributes very little but is somehow raved about by everyone else. It's also why I'd be all for signing Walcott on a free as that would leave us with decent cover in those attacking mid positions still (if we trust in Tella and Watts to be 4th choice between them), and allows us to spend the money elsewhere in the squad.

Stephens letting Ibra go so easily for that header may just be the subconscious reason I struggle to rate him.

Similar to how remainers seized on some cheese company from up north not being able to export anymore as a travesty of brexit. The EU have shown themselves up for exactly what they are throughout this vaccination drama.
-
A lot of names there that were regarded as the next big thing at one time or another.
-
He's the only one in there I even recognise, doesn't bode well for the rest of them.

Free transfer, two year deal, no more than £50,000 a week.

"We are threadbare at the back" Proceeds to list players in every single position. Only having two fullbacks, one of which is currently injured, is not a good situation. Coupled with the 4 centrebacks two of which are currently injured and one of those has had recurring injuries all season whilst not making a single appearance anyway so we don't even know how good he can be. We are talking about having to play centremidfielders and attacking wingers at fullback.
-
Doesn't really explain why those players weren't used in the last few weeks does it?
-
It's certainly difficult to believe we have any ambition of progressing as a club when you look at the decisions that have been made.
-
Just saw that as well. He's 18 years old. Jesus.
-
Not sure about that, but I was actually thinking earlier that Walcott might do a job at right back with his high energy pressing and direct running. Obviously not for a few weeks now with his injuries but still.
-
With an agreed fee already in place. Nothing like that is in this deal. Only way we sign Minamino is if Ings is going the other way, in which case I'd want £10million plus Minamino for him.
-
Let's say he does well for us and we actually want to sign him. Next summer his price will have shot up to £30-40million.
-
Not sure what you're on about, it seems likely to me that this tweet is about Gao.
-
Armstrong covers midfield, Walcott and Redmond covering up top, ward Prowse covering right back...we've got a patchwork team this season that requires a lot of versatility.
-
If we can't sign a fullback, we should use our loan slot to sign somebody. We've struggled in every position this season at one point or another.
-
In the role behind the strikers or possibly even up front.
-
Said the actresses to the bishop.
-
Like I said before, we've struggled for cover in every position on the pitch this season so if we absolutely cannot get a fullback in then we might as well use the other loan slot to get SOMEONE in.
-
Started in their last game.
-
Is he actually any good? Looks completely ineffective anytime I've seen him.
-
Yeah, in 2016 we gave him a new 3 year contract on what would obviously have been higher wages when he'd already started to decline for us. We've only ever spent what we get in, but someone mentioned never spending money despite recieving large sums for players...I've done it many times over the last few years and can't be arsed to do it again now, but if you look at the outgoings and incomings since we returned to the Premier League I promise you we have spent more than we've received just on transfer fees, not even taking into account bumper new contracts for players.
-
It's a myth that we never spend anything, we've just spent too much on poor choices, not just the Carrillo and Lemina type transfers but long hefty contracts for Forster and Davis etc.
