You literally have no idea how we would be doing now if we'd kept Still. None of us do. I'm willing to bet though that had we kept working on it, we'd have improved steadily and been in a better position than we are now - lest we forget that there were many games where we cut through teams and created dozens of chances but were let down by poor finishing. Then first game after he'd gone, we played shite, created two chances and scored them both. Go figure.

That's more on the players than on him isn't it, as the way they know how to play is what we're seeing now. I'd much rather have given him the whole season and next summer to rebuild the squad completely, getting rid of the brainwashed keep ball merchants the squad is full of.

Just seen the highlights. One of his strengths is meant to be that he's quick off the line and reads it well. 2nd goal today if he hadn't taken an age to react he'd have at bare minimum been able to smother the ball at the strikers feet, and quite likely been able to just claim the ball.

Is there anyone that still wants to try and defend him? Fucking absolute waste of space, I stand by what I said the first season he was here - a better keeper in goal and I think we'd have stayed up.

Good age, almost 150 games so not inexperienced. Know nothing else about him but it's just good to know the club are finally admitting Bazunu isn't good enough.

This is such a myth. The three seasons since he left us he played 34, 37 and 31 games, including a season as a first choice in Barcelona's midfield. He's nowhere near match sharpness because he is not only lacking a preseason but also the rest of the squad (and the league) were more than 10 games in before he even set foot on the pitch. He ain't gonna be the best midfielder in the league, but he will get up to sharpness and be an excellent asset for us. He won't have lost his physical strength and his greatest asset beyond that was his anticipation and reading of the game, which again he won't have lost - he'll just need time on the pitch to hone it.
