How do you figure that? He was given a run of games where he did next to f*ck all, was dropped for Long who did the same and then put back in the team ahead of Austin before continuing to do f*ck all again. It was only recently Austin was given a run of games and actually scored - you think Gabbi should have been playing instead? Other than his first 6 or 7 games he has shown nothing to suggest he is good enough. Another Saganowski.

People are throwing a hissy fit about the selection but Van Dijk has been criticised all season for his commitment and Lemina looked poor when he came back from injury and has been dropped sporadically by Pellegrino - I don't think Lemina really wants to be here and wants to move on asap.

Wow, £17million was it? Dropped out of the squad for a youth product. Can understand him being ****ed off in all honesty, he left Lazio where he was in and out the team to come here and...not be in the squad at all.

From what he's said in that article clubs kept signing him promising he would play when the first choice was injured or out of form...and then they didn't get injured or lose form. Go somewhere that they want you as first choice and work your way up.

He can try and say it wasn't deliberate, that he's frustrated but...he signed a contract extension with us knowing full well he wasn't going to be anywhere near any game time. He could have easily got a free transfer to a lower league club and been first choice. He could have done that long, long ago and if he was anywhere near as good as he insinuates in that article, he'd have made his way back to the top through natural progression.

Play 3 at the back, Hoedt left, Yoshida centre and Stephens right. VVD can go now we've proven we can cope without him.

He should be first choice at the back for me anyway, potential for a top class centreback to grow from our academy and lead the defence for many years to come there.
