Well that's good news then, if slightly annoying that there's even less reward for being a long term season ticket holder than before.

Considering there were two sets of prices last season (one for renewals and one for new buyers), they can't all be frozen prices, can they. Anyone got a link to the prices from last season? Have they frozen them at the renewal price or the new buyer price? If the latter then it's actually an increase for current STHs. EDIT: I've found the article about prices last time round, but the images of the prices have been mysteriously removed. I even looked at the source code - the images have actually been removed, they aren't just not loading.

Yeah, it looks like renewals and new tickets are the same price for the first time which is...rather a p*ss take. Also, do they really need THAT many family seats!? To buy tickets in there you HAVE to have a child with you I believe...considering not everyone with a kid goes in those sections, I'm betting there'll be a lot of empty seats.

Long was ready BEFORE the game resumed play. He was on the sideline with his shirt on when Gabbi was down injured and immediately after play resumed they cut to a shot of him stood next to the fourth official.

Absolutely this, the ball before was lofted high in the air and came down bang on the 6 yard line. If that isn't his to claim then what the f*ck is. I was hugely excited when we signed him but he's gone backwards. We need to try and sell him in the summer and get one of Pickford, Heaton or Begovic in.

He doesn't play in DM for Northern Ireland though. I rate Davis, think he has much to offer us in an attacking sense, but he has never, ever performed in defensive midfield for us against all but the worst teams.

Thing is, centrebacks don't usually hit their peak for another 4-5 years, sometimes longer (Fonte, Vidic...). We shouldn't give up on him, and as our season is risk-free right now it's the perfect opportunity to give him top class experience and learn from his mistakes with little real consequence.

He has always been sh*te in defensive midfield, from day one. Much better further forward. Todays performance was no surprise to those of us who are objective.

Except those two times when he was onside. Long has played well, won a lot of headers up top.
